Just a great rare. 1 mana stall, potentially removal, and the art is funny.
Another nice freeze card for mage - and because it`s cheap the combo ability is most likely to go off too.
Rogue could also utilize this card pretty good - overall i would say decent card but not so sure if it will see play.
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!

Decent freeze for 1. Or it does 3 damage for 1. One or the other. Its rare to want both.
But it gives a freeze effect to rogue, and that might just be enough for this to see play.
Not too impressed, but it's better than nothing. Small Spell mage appreciates any 1-cost spell that can stall or clear the board.
Idk what the point would be in Rogue though (outside of a combo activator that's also a combo card by itself)

It was awful.
1 mana deal 3 to a minion has been shown to be more than acceptable in most cases, and the need to combo this is a fine tradeoff for the freeze.
A good card, but not enough to launch any archetypes that weren't already good, so I assume this will be seen more in mage than rogue.

1 mana spells are always nice. Cheap Spellburst activation, and can do good damage to a minion. I like it!
Rogue: This can be a way to prevent taking damage for a turn. Normally you had to Sap something instead. Also Brain Freeze is cheap, and can be used to enable other combo cards instead. (if you don't want the deal 3 damage effect.) Will probably see play in some kind of control rogue deck, or just any rogue deck that needs a cheap combo enabler at the very least.
Mage: Another cheap spell that you can discover from cards like Arcane Breath, Magic Trick and Evocation. Will see play in burn & freeze mage, but i feel like it's too weak to fit into highlander mage. But hey at least you will see it plenty of times, because of random discovers/generation.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
basically Frostbolt for 1 mana but can't target face with combo requirement you are 99% of the time want to fulfill.
Tempo mage is gonna love this.. in rogue.. nah.
Incredible card for Mana Cyclone decks, good card overall for other rogue decks.
This almost has to be more impactful to Rogue than to Mage, if only because it helps slower Rogue archetypes in a way that Mage doesn't really need. That said, this is still crazy powerful in a Cyclone Mage deck, as it's basically a cheaper Frostbolt in that context. It's probably also a key card for any Tempo/Secret Mage, as it can be paired on turn 2 with Sorcerer's Apprentice for a total of 4 mana's worth of value that makes it very easy to defend that Sorcerer's Apprentice and snowball a win.
This card is pretty good!
Invocation of Frost has seen tons of play before and after it's nerf. Granted, it could freeze enemy minions AND players.
This card can only target minions, but it's cost is flexible enough to be used in tempo and miracle playlists. You probably won't care too much about the combo damage, either, unless you're needing to remove an early game minion, the cheap freeze effect is the main draw of this card.
Ray of Frost has seen play in constructed since RoS, and while this card doesn't have the twinspell of Ray it can still be used to stall enemy minions like it's twinspell counterpart can.
People play Ray of Frost, people play Frostbolt, people play Eviscerate, I don't see why they wouldn't play this card.

This is a pretty great freeze card, since it's extra damage dosn't require that the minion already be frozen like so many others do.

Cheap spells are always good. For both classes. This will see play one way or another.

Not sure if this is good enough to be run itself, what with Ray of Frost still kicking, but adds more fodder for the Mozaki OTK mage of my nightmares. Will also be yet another tilting cheap spell to be generated from cheap effects.

So a cheaper Frostbolt that doesn’t go face, because there’s rarely a time where neither class can activate the combo

Yeah, this looks like a nice little fit for both classes. Lots of flexibility at 1-mana.

It's basically just a 1-mana Frostbolt that requires a combo for the 3 damage part to go off.
In Rogue, this will be awesome for some stalling which Rogue could really use even as just a Freeze effect without the damage. In Mage though, it might just be easier to use Frostbolt instead since Frostbolt is usually just used as a Darkbomb where the Freeze effect rarely comes into play, although being 1-mana cheaper, it does still have a place in places like Cyclone Mage.
Freeze in rogue will be nice, I guess it could make the cut. As for mage, only Mana Cyclone comes to mind since they can just use Frostbolt to also go face.
Super strong card in rouge and ok in mage since it's a cheap spell. Have acces to a cheap freez is a so strong...and card like Ray of Frost prove it. In this set it's also a cheap activator for spellburst

Ray of Frost is better in Mage for now, but freeze and combo is a lot better in Rogue.
Ray of Frost is better, but Rogue doesn't have Ray of Frost.
The freeze effect is already nice but the combo just adds to it, being 1 mana makes it easy to combo with almost anything

Freeze Mage tools. Stacks well with all the other cheap spells.
Good and flexible in both Tempo Mage and any Miracle-like rogue (which I don't see happening). So I think it will see play in Tempo mage.
Rogue could maybe, maybe, use a quasi-Frostbolt. Mage already got the real one, pass.
I initially thought this card would be auto-include in both classes, but I'm not so sure after seeing the rest of the expansion.
The card is definitely solid, but I'm not sure it will make the cut in any non-freeze Mage lists.

A more versatile frostbolt. All in all a nice and cheap freeze card.
Sadly, mage got more freeze support. But rogue finally got some more survivality! Sadly, there are very few 0-man spells, which is why given those great 1mana combo cards, they will all have to be included.
Cheap spells are annoying in rogue... Will de play for sure.

This is good even if you don't get the combo.
Just a good card, and giving Rogue a freeze card that can also damage, or just be used as a removal of something small... seems really good! Because even if you just use it to freeze something, because it's 1 mana it can activate another combo card as well.

Rogue will love this as both removal and a combo activator. I'm struggling to see a home for it in Mage though, as for 1 more mana, you can count on the damage from Frostbolt.
I think Ray of Frost serves the cheap freeze role in Mage well enough already. Maybe it'll make more sense in the class after the next rotation. I also don't think it makes much sense in Rogue either as they have more efficient stall options with Sap and Blackjack Stunner. Overall, I don't see how this sees play before the next rotation.

Rogue might like a cheap freeze that can also serve as removal sometimes. Mage has Frostbolt and Ray of Frost.
