New Demon Hunter Minion - Insatiable Felhound

A solid tool for Control DH, easy enough to corrupt and excellent at slowing down aggressive decks.  Still not sure if Control DH has enough to carry it though.

Pretty good lifesteal minion, and lifesteal is pretty good because of Il'gynoth. Insatiable Felhound is basicly a cheaper Ashtongue Battlelord with +1 health after corrupting it. 

Standard: Will probably see play in decks with a lot of 4+ cost cards like Marrowslicer, so i think it will see play in Soul DH. 

Wild: ODD Costed, but i don't think ODD DH want's this because it's too slow. DH Is a strong class in wild though, so if [Hearthstone Card (Insationable Felhound) Not Found] sees plenty of play in standard, it probably will see decent play in wild as well. After all, a good standard DH deck can also be a good deck in wild.

The more I see of these corrupt cards, I am liking them.  This is another great example of how a smaller minion drawn mid-late game can still be quite a valuable asset.  Playing something else instead of this that costs more to ramp it up to 3/6 lifestealing minion for 3?!?!  That is a bargain at any rate.

In all seriousness I think this is a very strong card. At it's base, it is very similar to Tar Creeper. Not terribly powerful, but it can delay aggro. But once it is corrupted, you should be able to block 1-2 attacks, gain 3-6 life, and possibly kill one of your opponents minions. If you can corrupt this, any aggro deck will be sent very far behind unless they have some form of removal or silence to get past this.

Not sure that demon hunters want this effect, but it's definitely strong if you can corrupt it. It's good, but doesn't really stand out to me.

A cheap antiaggro tool, extremly good as corrupted and usefull as "normal".

DH is getting a lot of powerfull cards that set.

Yes, another card for another DH control attempt. This I really like because of the lifesteal stat.

After corruption this minion is so defensive.. it's a 3/6 lifesteal for 3?? what? it's a lot of health and survivality.. DH is getting the nuts this expansion..

Even if not corrupt this card is -1 attack Tar Creeper...

It's not a bad card to run with Il'gynoth. Although if I'm totally honest, as a warlock main I wish Warlock got this instead. 

Well this is 3 mana taunt which is like pretty strong even without corrupt, and with corrupt it is insane but might be a tad too slow...

You have better demons to resummon in Demon Hunter... So I wouldn't recommend..

Very easy to corrupt and get a good effect. Maybe the odd cost will make it into a wild Odd Demon Hunter

Corrupt cards tend to be underwhelming in their uncorrupted forms. This, however, is a 2/5 Taunt, so premium stats and a small extra. Even in the Corrupt department, DH seems to be ahead of the curve.

I have to say, I love this card, and wished that team5 would've made the sensible choice of making this a neutral card instead.

But as a dhunter card, this is solid. You get something really defensive to help fight back hyper aggro (if indeed there would be any in the next meta). Even as a simple 2/5 taunt for 3, that's already going to do work defensively.

Unfortunately for this card, it will almost never see play. Its defensive, and therefore useless to most dhunter decks. The most I can grant is if token dhunter gets to tier 2, then this card may pull some work. But I'm just not seeing it.

Ok, I like the design.  More lifesteal synergy for Ilgynoth, and just having taunt helps against aggro (if you cant corrupt it it still works).  Maybe not quite strong enough, but could see some fringe play.

Because demon hunter needed more support healing stuff I guess solid card will most likely see a lot of play

I have two main issues with Insatiable Felhound. First, no competitive DH archetype is currently playing and/or looking for taunt minions to play and I don't think any new DH archetypes are going to be created this expansion. Second, if you play this corrupted on turn 5, it's basically Fen Creeper with lifesteal. At that point, why not just play Ashtongue Battlelord instead? It's a more consistent draw and doesn't demand another card for its full effect unlike Felhound.

I mean Ashtongue Battlelord was already a card that saw play in midrange DH so this should at 1 less mana in theory.

Useful card, even more lifesteal for Demon Hunter. I thought DH was supposed to be the self daminging class of HS when it was introduced?

Don't know if this will see play, but it's pretty good when corrupted and that is pretty easy to do at 3 mana.

If you manage to upgrade it then it looks good

For wild, it doesn't seem to slot well into either existing deck.

This might be playable, even without corruption.

Yay, more ways for DH to get healling so they can continue to hit face and ignore damage you manage to get in.

This is a fine card. It's in some ways a better Tar Creeper, but I think in this meta (and with how Demon Hunters play) that being a fine card may not be enough to make the cut. My collection is already cluttered with decently efficient Demon Hunter Taunts, and this will likely join them in obscurity, which is sad.

Decent Anti-aggro card, but I feel like I'm not in any rush to put this in Soul Demon Hunter.

A worse Ashtongue Battlelord, which does not see play. Cute to combine with Felosophy, but does not fit in any existing DH deck and I do not see any new DH deck coming up that wants cards like this.

Great stats, even greater artwork!

I like it for my Il'gynoth deck, as another incidental source of Lifesteal if you can't quite get there with the combo.
