Try to pick card sets that are lower cost. The opponents tend to have weak starts and cannot recover if you start fast. Hand of Rafaam is a very strong treasure, especially when combined with smaller minions. This strategy also helps with Garr in game 3, allowing you to hard mulligan for small minions to play right away and ping at the Rocks.

It's a classic RNG reliant mode, though. Don't get discouraged if you get some terrible luck in mulligans and/or draws. There will be times you get steamrolled no matter what you do.

Now you kids are probably saying to yourselves, "Hey Matt, how can we get back on the right track?"

I find that using Dr.Boom make everything more easy: decks are thin so just keep putting bombs into their one until they blow up.

Especially when you get to the penultimate boss, whose entire Hero power is a passive mill of both decks.

I easily marched through with shaman. But as already mentioned don´t pick to greedy and take low cost cards sets and it should work.

I played with Dr Boom with 3x the ability that gives your opponent two curses. This is superstrong, last boss took 12 damage in turn 1, 12 damage in turn 2, 10 damage in turn 3 - it was over very fast. Other than than took small cards and always use the bomb Hero power

Play Dr Boom and maximise your use of the hero power, I would try to ensure you click the button every turn, you can easy have 10+ bombs in their deck in a short time.

The boss most people have a problem with is Garr, all I would suggest is pick some smaller minions in the buckets (but ones with more than 1 HP) so you can hit and stagger the boss minions HP so when the boss uses his hero power only 1 or 2 minions will die. He actually helps you by adapting a minion usually and seems to pick HP.

I did Dr. Boom and just went crazy with the bombs.  Tossing multiple bombs and getting draw mechanics with my loot choices got me finished in 33 minutes.  I totally didn't even try either

Don't pick priest.  Shaman and rogue are on the easy side and warrior is a cakewalk

The priest starter list looks okay but those buckets are absolute trash.  The deck seems to get progressively worse and worse no matter what you do.  Making a fast deck with those buckets is next to impossible and without a fast deck you're going to struggle against Ragnaros, Gar and Valestraz

And on that note, I'll add a follow up to OP's question : "What's a consistent way to beat the brawl with priest?"

Wow I finished it but assumed the time was play time in brawl rather than from first starting the brawl...

Priest is definitely the toughest. HP is irrelevant more often than not. I used the same strategy - pick smaller buckets & Hand of Rafaam - whenever possible. Amulet of Domination on a Flamewaker was a huge bonus, as was Wondrous Wand

I used Dr.Boom and it was probably RNG, but was able to choose deathrattles trigger twice as my passive hero power.

I essentially won on the strength of filling board with Boombots/bombs, Dr. Boom, and armor gain like crazy.

Probably doesn't help much, but that's the strategy I used, and got it done in a shade under 35 minutes.

Put Your Faith In The Light.

Did what you peeps told to do: I used the Dr. Boom hero power every turn, picked cheap cards, and went for the kill without any tricks. Passed it on first round under easily under 40 minutes. Only one match was a close call, got a little lucky with the bombs, but I also played pretty sloppily. In general, I am not a good player.

    Gotta say, awesome brawl!

That can actually backfire hard, if he is burning the bombs instead of drawing them :D but i guess once he is in fatigue its a guaranteed win, if you didnt manage to get it by then.
