Turalyon doesn't work against that BS Warlock demon in Duels

The stupid garbage broken one you know what I mean. Gets huge and has rush. I attacked it with Turalyon and its stats didn't change because it starts off as a 3/3 and its buff still applied. Garbage. Fix your game retards.

You don't have to like it, but it's not "broken" in the strictest sense. The effect is an aura rather than a buff - Killmox, the Banished One "has +2/+2 for each card you discarded this game" (unlike, say Clutchmother Zavas, whose text reads "give it +2/+2," implying a buff). Changing the base stats don't work for the same reason changing base stats against Caverns Below Rogue never worked.
Effects that reads 'set to x' always worked against crystal core minions. The only reason why it doesn't work on kilmox is because its apparently an aura, which means its more often than not redundant, and kilmox is already a 3/3 to begin with (which is why turalyon's effect apparently did nothing)
Its actually weird why they made it that way. Theoretically that also means paladin has absolutely no counter against it other than killing it via trading. As if the card wasn't already OP enough.
Edit: Added some clarity as to why Turalyon didn't do anything to Kilmox (in brackets)
"Whenever this attacks a minion set the defender's attack and health to 3." That should set it to 3 no matter what. Seems reasonable that should override auras. They just forgot to code it in.
I’m pretty sure Turalyon still kills a minion even when it is being buffed by a Stormwind Champion, so it could just be a problem with Killmox, which is honestly par for the course at this point.
Edit: I ran some tests on Stormwind Champion and I was very wrong as the aura applies itself over the changed stats. I knew about Equality, but did not know whether Tuarlyon worked the same. I’m gonna test for other aura card as well to see how that works, like Tar Creeper and that card which gains attack when you hold a dragon
This ain't no place for a hero
"Set health to x" description does not override aura effects, just stack on it. If you used Equality in a full board with a stormwind champion in it, only the chaimpion's health will be 1 (not affected by its own aura) while the others will be 2.
Ok good example. That card is just horseshit then.
Talking about turalyon, i'm very sad on how trash Paladin is at Duels
My fav class and i cant play it :(
