Guess in the long term his nerf wasn't that much needed, huh?
It is hilarious to look at the original release cards, in any card game, and see how soon power creep makes them 110% obsolete.
2 mana for this card? Hmm. . . or, do I want to pay double the mana, for an identical card with just one more point on attack. Hmm. . . . HMMMMMM. . . . !
Sure Kinkou Lifeblade is obsolete right now but: I am quite sure riot will soon eighter nerf Sparklefly if they find it too good or buff lifebale if they think it's fine. Riot actually cares about balance and only nerfed it back then because it was so popular in an unpopular archetype. I think nowadays elusives weren't even that good since we got answers for them in many regions and challenger slapped on all units we summon (thanks to The Grand Plaza)
