Battlegrounds gives me 2nd place without the final fight. Anyone else?
Hello everyone
This is the third time this has happened to me, this time i'm asking the community if it's the same for them. Every time this has happened my chances to win the last fight are really high but my health is lower than the guy that gets 1st place, the fight never happens.
What happened: I'm playing a Battlegrounds game and doing really well. For example, the last time it happened I'm using elementals, my minions are really big (60+/60+ stats, divine shield, wind fury, 80/150+ taunt) and only 3 people left (me and 2 more), I get to fight a real opponent, the other guy get's to fight a ghost, I destroy my opponent and i'm ready to go for the final fight but the Battleground game ends and i'm awarded 2nd place with no final fight.
Like i said this has happened to me 3 times by now in the last week, has anyone else see this?
Edit: Oh and in case anyone was wondering, I know is not a visual bug due to the fact that I didn't make the first place achievement with the hero that I was using in that fight.

This is weird, you can get awarded a 1st place in a three-way, if the 3rd person dies to KT while ur fighting, but getting 2nd? That is weird. Havent had that happen to me tho.

I've had this and I'm pretty sure this is just a bug where the guy in 1st place was a DC but for some reason, they still show their health so they are always in 1st since they have like 30 HP and above. So in your last fight, there are only 2 and not 3 people remaining. Technically you're in 1st place but the game doesn't register it as so.
Also, this is why if you fight someone early on and for some reason, they are registered as a KT but still have Health, that person is going to be the 1st place ghost. I'm not sure if this can make it so there are 2 or more in the same lobby but I hope that that isn't the case.
Take my words with a grain of salt. I'm unranked and only play casuals lmao.

Let's hope they fix the bug as soon as possible, it is so infuriating to get 2nd place in a fight you were suppose to win. I mean... Is Battlegrounds, you do lose fights you are suppose to win by getting unbelievable scammed, not like this.
Pretty sure that's the answer. Had the same happen to me several months ago (several instances)
And as you probably can tell by FenrirWulf's and my post this is a bug that will still be around for some months/years... (mb when they interchange BG and Mercs in the UI ^^)
Well, I just lost my best Pirate Game ever against s/o who triggered both Deathrattles and Battlecries. Not or. They went off either way and somehow counted as both.
