What's the point of this? I guess Shield Block was too op for Warriors, but I really fail to see why any constructed deck would ever run this

What's the most powerful card in Hearthstone?
A credit card.
Hunter's Pack for warrior? On first glance it seems really bad, but it is really good in BIG Warrior... oh wait that rotates for the most part.... Let's hope BIG Warrior will get more support, because the Scholomance stuff isn't enough to keep that deck viable in standard. In wild i'm not sure BIG Warrior even wants it. OH it's ODD Costed, so maybe ODD Warrior might TRY it out, in order to perhabs get some EVEN cost cards randomly? (But it would be pretty hard to make space for it.)
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
There are way too many bad Warrior cards for this to create. Some aren't even strictly bad, but since Warrior has several different archetypes, you're going to get stuff that just doesn't fit your game plan.
Remind you that most of the bad card are not in Warrior core set this time , so... Amazingly, there is almost no "bad spell" in the Warrior core set, 3 weapon are good if you don't have to put it in your deck yourself, and the minions are good also.
As a CW main for 6 year I can assure you every CW deck will run at least 1 copy of this card, 2 if there is no better value generator in the next expansion for the class
Its not really that bad, but we'd simply have to imagine that a warrior playing a card like this. What is it going to accomplish? Most warriors are either trying to clear the board or play for tempo, and this card doesn't do any of that. It may sometimes get you something like arcanite reaper or Grom. And then there are those times it spits at your face and gives you Imprisoned Gan'arg.
Its also three mana. Can you imagine floating three mana on the early turns and still winning?
You're probably right -- I hadn't really analyzed the list that closely yet. Warrior seems to be in a pretty good place overall, for all of its usual archetypes.
Since Hunter's Pack give you a beast I would have liked that this gave you a pirate or another tribal, just to follow the same path. I like it better that it is a warrior minion but for me it loses a bit of flavor haha.
I'm going to up vote this since I really do love the RNG
