Hail, Champions! We're now two days into the new Empires of the Ascended expansion, and decks are starting to get a little more refined since we last updated yesterday. Here are some of the new decks that caught our eye!

MajiinBae's Elise + Kindred Concurrent Corina

We'll start with the newly-crowned Cosmic Creation champion, MajiinBae, who's been running this updated Corina control deck. It's a similar concept to the Concurrent Timelines -> Commander Ledros -> transform into The Dreadway OTK combo that we highlighted yesterday, but this version has an alternative combo using Corina instead of Ledros.

Duckling's Renekton + Sejuani Xenotype Overwhelm

Duckling came up with this fun take on Frejlord overwhelm that looks to use Xenotype Researchers. With 15 overwhelm units, you'll have some very pleasant surprises.

Kevor24's Solo Lee Sin Shurima

Kevor has been experimenting with Lee Sin decks that use Shurima instead of Targon. Lucky Finds from Payday and Inner Sanctum play a huge role in giving Lee Overwhelm.

Jasensational's Kindred + Nasus Slay

There weren't many Nasus decks on Day 1, but more and more players are finding ways to use him including this control deck from Jasensational focusing on their common Slay synergy. Kindred is an absolute menace if left unchecked, and they feed Nasus creating a very nasty feedback loop.

XxWhatAmIxX's Lissandra + Trundle Control

The other control tool, Lissandra, has been seeing a lot of play too. zTurtlee swears by this decklist from XxWhatAmIxX, which showcases a lot of healing and a lot of AoE and not the Frozen Thralls prevalent in so many other Lissandra decks. The idea is to stall at all costs, since your Watcher is an almost guaranteed win if it attacks.

Tempo13x's Solo Azir Solo Shurima

Tempo13X made a mono Shurima deck; unlike most other mono decks, he decided to drop Renekton and Nasus to concentrate exclusively on Azir and his Sand Soldiers. Buried Sun Disc is still in as a 1x; you won't flip it often without the other 2 Ascended Champs, but when you do you'll have access to the Emperor's Deck to ensure longer games don't get away from you.

SilverFuse's Renekton + Sivir Midrange

SilverFuse originally created this deck for an event quest and was surprised how well it works. It boasts a lot of high-attack units which combo nicely with Vulnerable, Quick Attack, and Lucky Find.

Cephalopod's Azir + Zed Sand Soldiers

We're seeing a lot of Azir decks, but Cephalopod might have been the only person who thought to combine Azir with Zed. The result is an aggressive deck that not only levels Azir quickly but becomes can capitalize on all the Sand Soldiers.

BruisedByGod's TF + Kindred Go Hard

BBG has been playing several different decks, but the one he recommends the highest is this new version of TF Go Hard. The decklist will look very similar to TF Go Hard decks from last season with the change from Elise to Kindred, who can trigger off the Go Hards to create 2-for-1s.

NicMakesPlays' Solo Azir Prankster Burn

Phantom Prankster Card Image Bloodthirsty Marauder Card Image

Here's another Azir Prankster deck -- this time from NicMakesPlays, who goes all-in on aggro with 12 1-drops and drops the support champ entirely. This is very much a "kill them before they kill you" deck.

Alanzq's Elise + Kindred Control

Kindred Card Image Thermogenic Beam Card Image

Alanzq is still tinkering with control decks, but he's turned from Lissandra today to focus on Kindred. Like the Nasus deck above, this deck is looking to "pop-off" with a buffed L2 Kindred; this version of the deck though incorporates P&Z burn spells like Thermogenic Beam and Mystic Shot to enhance its control abilities.

Mogwai's Azir + Hecarim Harrowing

Hecarim Card Image Soul Shepherd Card Image Shark Chariot Card Image

Finally, we have another Azir deck -- this one from Mogwai and featuring Hecarim. This is a more control-oriented version than most Azir + SI decks, looking to use back units like Soul Shepherd and Inspiring Marshal to buff a wave of ephemeral attackers. 2x The Harrowing provides a powerful finisher if your Hecarim is killed.

That will do it for today's collection of new decks. What have you been playing lately? Share with us below!
