Reward track strategy

As we now on March 25th the new Reward track will release. So it will be most likely optimal to hold on weekly quests until Thursday to have a small kick for new Reward track, right?

Im not entirely sure its a good idea, because without the benefit of history we don't really know if the quests will reset once the new reward track comes in. It did during darkmoon, but that was admitably a larger jump from the old to the new. And big patches are often code word for 'lots of bugs attached' which can screw the unprepared.

For me, I'll be finishing as many as I can until the new patch release. Just in case. It really doesn't matter at the end anyway.

This probably depends a lot on where you are on the current rewards track. If you're at the point where all levels are 1500 XP for 50 gold, then you probably play enough to get back to that point without the extra boost of delaying your weekly quests. Under that model, the delay really just means you get back to that 1500 point a tiny bit sooner, so it's kind of like trading levels of 50 gold now for levels of 50 gold later. Any difference probably comes out in the wash, so the only factor I'd consider here your answer to the question "am I happy with the amount of gold I have going into the next expansion?"

If you're not at that point yet, and particularly if you're at a point where your weekly quests together only get you about 1 level up, I'd be more inclined to save up the quests and get a head start on the next track.

I´m wondering this too, since the new exp releases on Tuesday. It could be worth it to wait a day completing the three Weekly quests (still it´s very unlikely to complete all of them on Monday).

Edit: According to this: "Players will the receive a new Reward Track when Forged in the Barrens will go live." it will be released on the 30th, not 25th.

Highly doubt the quests would get reset, or that you would get a new batch on xpac launch. At best we get some legendary quests to get some packs.

I wouldnt hold on to quests from previous track, it should still be a decent ratio to trade 1500 xp for 50g, assuming you are pass LVL50.

There is a free legendary 8000 XP deep in track, so by saving the weekly quests I should be able to get it on first day.

You get burst to level 20 within a day of finishing the daily and week quests.

Save up gold now for Barrens packs then maybe Duels, and expansion achievements.
