Interesting synergy with Greybough, but not sure if deck would be any good

Very powerful with strong deathrattles like Scrapyard Colossus or Smug Senior because it just summon another copy, yes without taunt, but with the deatrattle.

I guess it works that way, very strong imho

Bad card with potential though, if only the mana cost was lower or the effect permanent or better stats.

Could be played with deathrattle minions like Teacher's Pet to maximize value.

Huh, it's definitely a board extension card. Not necessarily has to synergize with greybough, just getting an extra teacher's pet would be nice. 

Looks good but not sure if this will make it - maybe some kind auf Taunt / Greybough Druid will emerge ...

Just not convinced on this one. It only gives value if

a) your opponent has no option other than killing a taunt of yours to get to this

b) you have a taunt that you were going to trade away anyways

It's not bad by itself, but it's not nearly enough of a payoff to make me actually build a mediocre midrange deck around it.

Too bad honestly, I was hoping for some great Beast support, but I guess that one's gonna come from the regular cards instead.

Looks decent to good in the right deck. At least it should be protected from enemy minions most of the time, given its synergy. 

Here's the taunt archetype support we were expecting, though I'm not sure it's strong enough as is for this deck to be competitive right now and need some more good cards to exist. I might be wrong though, time will tell.

Taunt board with massive payoff if greybough lives past one turn. Aurbor up as a finisher and druid is looking good so far.

Given all the 4 mana Legendarys the Kazakus decks will be cheap.

I see potential for this card, given you have some good Deathrattle + Taunt minions.

Wait, do they want us to play Taunt Druid?  Or Rez Taunt Druid?

As others have said, it´s a great addition to Taunt deck, we just need to see, if it will be viable enough this season.

There are a lot of value combos with this. I think what will determine if this gets played is how consistent those combos are.

Great for any Deathrattle Taunts (not just Greybough), not worth playing with anything else.

Have fun with that strategy against Demon Hunters.

Great card! It's not hard to imagine that you could have a taunt on the board most turns, and this dude makes every single one a tempo threat for your opponent. They'll have to contort their gameplan to disallow you opportunities to trade - or bait you into playing this bloke and trading your minions away before they use a board bomb. 

I wonder if we'll see any good taunts in this set as well? This is already more support than they usually give to archetypes. 

Plaguemaw is close enough to vanilla for cost that it should be easy to get enough value to make him worth it. All you need is to be ready to trade one or two decent taunts on your turn and you're getting tons of value here. If he sticks to the board for more than one turn, he's outrageous.

Druids are getting a great deal of taunt support this expansion.

Good sinergy with cards like Archspore Msshi'fn, Greybough and any taunt minion with extra keyword.

I think it's good. If you manage to get one big minion or deathrattle minion back, it will be worth the cost.

Another strong card for Taunt Druid. 

Side note: I wonder if this with the portal from the Kara adventure that gives taunt would allow it go infinite

Druid does have some pretty shnasty Taunts (Greybough, Dreaming Drake, Fizzy Elemental), I'm both excited and terrified to see what kind of value Druid can squeeze out of this. You could also give something Taunt with Mark of the Wild or Defender of Argus to proc this as well. 

My issue with Plaguemaw the Rotting is that it doesn't have an ideal use case for most matchups. Against aggressive decks, Plaguemaw doesn't provide extra defense, but only board presence and taunt effect value that really aggressive decks like Weapon Rogue don't care about when pointing face. In slower matchups, your taunt minions are less likely to die against decks with in-hand removal that it will use to kill Plaguemaw first. I just don't know how you get consistent enough right value in the right matchup from Plaguemaw ever.

Some very fun Taunt shenanigans here. I like the taunt druid idea and it with the direction they are leaning this could be a valid deck. I think I will have to mess around with this card, as it's potential is too much fun. 

High marks for the potential. Low marks for practicality.

Basically the conditions for this to be good requires a wall of taunts. A feat not repeated since the days of taunt druid. Unless that returns, this card isn't really going to do anything.

This seems difficult to utilize. If you have a taunt, then your opponent will have to trade into that before they can kill this minion, which is great. But if you are fighting against a deck that has a decent amount of targeted removal, this is basically useless unless you can trade a Taunt away the same turn you play him. I don't see this being good, it it just too difficult to utilize.

It looks like Blizzard is brewing up a Taunt package for druids, but I don't think it's going to make a big splash and this card is way too slow and unreliable to help it succeed.

That's quite op with greybough...

Deck based on Greybough with a board full of this will become a thing. When you have 2 Greybough its so hard to clear and now we can copy it with this new card and the little spell that give +2+2 and add a copy in your hand !

Now we need druid taunts

Really neat card. Plenty of deathrattle taunts. Love to have this make extra copies of those. 

Looks like it's made for Greybough, but actually putting this in the deck might be too greedy. There are other, more flexible ways of getting value from it, we'll see

I like it, I'm sad I disenchanted Greybough now because I feel that deck will be very fun.

Taunt druud is a very weird archetype but maybe this will be good in future expansions.

Plaguemaw the Rotting's effect is very flashy, but it's just a win more effect. I can expect heavy trial with this card, and people "barking at the wrong tree" a lot, but a win more card is just a win more card.

That being said, if you manage to stick in guy on board and have him survive even for just one turn, he will instantly win you the game a lot of times.

They should have support Greybough like this previous expansion....

I'm still not sure if there will be enough good taunt minions to make taunt druid a thing, but this will definitely be good in such a deck.

This will be super annoying with Greybough. Interesting card that's obviously pushing another Taunt Druid archetype, I can't wait to see the rest of the set to see if it will be viable. Druid already has some reliable taunt cards like Teacher's Pet and Dreaming Drake, as well as good neutrals like Strongman and Circus Amalgam.

Possible targets so far for this: Druid of the Plains after Frenzy triggers, Greybough, Teacher's Pet, Archspore Msshi'fn. It also has quite some good synergy with Germination, Mark of the Spikeshell, Mark of the Wild and Ironbark. It seems like their really pushing taunt druid, in b4 we get a Hadronox reprint in a future set, or in the mini set.

A strong combo i'm seeing is Twilight Runner and cast something like Ironbark on it. Next turn play Plaguemaw the Rotting before you trade Twilight Runner into something in order to summon a new copy of it. This gives druid a lot more draw.

Yeh Plaguemaw the Rotting seems quite good alongside taunts with deathrattles. Will probably see play in taunt/control druid and Guardian Animals druid, because of Teacher's Pet. 

However there is 1 GIANT problem with this card, and that's that it costs 4 mana, which means that you probably won't run it alongside Kazakus, Golem Shaper. (Unless Kazakus, Golem Shaper is so strong that your willing to wait until you drew Plaguemaw the Rotting from your deck before playing Kazakus, Golem Shaper. Kinda like how most super draw heavy decks run Zephrys the Great as a finisher.)

Seems pretty good with some of the new cards. We might have taunt druid back.

This will be weak sadly. It isn't good enough on stats and although taunt inherently protects this thing, nothing but the most aggressive decks will usually lack a way to deal with this over the taunt walls that might be in the way.

This card with a full board of Carnival Clown will be a Clown Fiesta XD.
Anyway if Taunt Druid will not a thing in the next future, this card is probably a "Win More Card"

Infinite druid combo for druids? OP

Isn't this infinite with Winged Guardian? A 6/8 that summons a 6/1 with Taunt and a 6/8 without Taunt. The 6/1 will then summon a 6/8 without Taunt, and the 6/8 without Taunt will be Reborn into a 6/1 with Taunt.

Depends if the Plaguemaw copy that gets Reborn has Taunt or not, but it's an 11 Mana combo in Wild that can be countered by killing Plaguemaw without minions. Not excactly a problem.

This doesn't seem like a good card, at least in Wild. Usually you want to trigger "when a friendly minion dies" effects on your own turn, but taunt minions are rarely dying on your own turn, and even when they can, you rarely want to kill them off on your own turn.

I hope this makes Greybough viable, but probably not...

I was terrified for a second before I realised Khartut Defender won't be in standard anymore. We don't need Druid pulling the same shenanigans as Priest lol.

Seriously though, this seems pretty good to me, just based on the fact that most of the time the opponent needs to go through a Taunt in order to get to this minion. Meaning there are many more occasions when it might be safe to drop this even if you can't immediately kill off a Taunt.

Play it hidden after some taunts and opponent could have some problems without direct spell removal. Good card IMHO

Nice to se the plague flavor for Druid from KotFT making a comeback. Very interesting for taunt decks and amazine meme potential with Greybough.

It can be interesting with the deathrattle minions... but i don't like it

I like what this does for Taunt Druid. It's not necessarily a supremely powerful play that epitomizes what the entire deck wants to do, but that doesn't mean that it can't do some powerful things. I like this for a lot of reasons.

I think this card will be a key component in a literal clownfiesta deck!

More value generation for taunt druid (after Mark of the Spikeshell). I'm not sure it's strong enough to merit a slot in your deck, though.

I really hope I open this card. I don't know if taunt druid will be a viable thing, but I want to mess around with it. I think it could be especially fun in wild with the right mix from Hadronox.

You get value from this quite easily, but yet it is hard to pull off as well. You want to not trade with taunt, but you want to trade to get value, so that is just awkward

I really like this card. I always enjoyed Taunt Druid around the KoFT era, but this card seems way better than Hadronox.

Well, I have to play this in a Greybough deck. Even if it isn't good it should be interesting.
