Could be really strong but also really awkward when it doesn't kill anything, but the Barov combo is probably enough to make it playable. That could be a ton of armor gained to stabilize.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I mean sure it hits your board but usually you don't have one when you need a board clear. This is worse than things like Holy Nova when you do have a board but even then you at least gain some armor against the classes you really need it for. Against slower decks you can likely save this for when you really need to have it, like with Barov.

insane AOE against aggro decks. Perfect for the upcoming Druid Token - Murloc Shaman - Zoolock - Meta
Wow this will make aggros decks cry. There will for sure be some scenarios where it sucks, but the potential is off the charts.

Might be a solid tech choice against a meta swarmed with tokens.
5/5 cards, amazing board clear and survival tool. Will certainly help with dealing with those pesky FACE decks.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Very good! After skipper/armorsmith combo rotates out, this is the way for warlock to contest aggro.
this is the best AOE card that I've ever seen in this game. crazy super ultra mega good.
A two-sided consecration that also gives you armor. This seems like an all-around good card. The damage is decent, and the armor gain is just absolutely wonderful.

Wow, this is probably one of the best anti-aggro cards for warrior, paired with Lord Barov will make any control warrior work again.

Okay someone's even happier than I am about the card. But I do absolutely love it. There's nothing like ruining an aggro strategy with a single removal spell.

AoE and armor gain in one card is a good competition, but 4 mana is a very high cost for 2 damage AoE.
5 star card, even if it doesn't deal enough damage there are several ways in warrior to damage all.
This is a very good card against aggro decks, as if Warrior needed more AoE and survival tools to punish aggressive decks. Great for stabilizing against wide boards, specifically. I also heard this comes with a pudgy shirtless guy who cries a lot.

I just want to point out -- as Liv pointed out and then immediately dismissed -- that it's pronounced "ranker."
The pronunciation "RANG-core" is reserved for the monster from "Return of the Jedi."
I love the design. Powerlevel-wise, This is just probably just ever so slightly better than Holy Nova for Priest.

Wonder what the average Armor gain will be. 6-8 Armor is my guess, which, while removing (hopefully) all enemy minions, is pretty good. Then, of course, it activates Frenzy on your undamaged minions.

Since the loss of Shield Block and Risky Skipper this may be the closest we'll ever get to high armor values in standard for the time being.
Yes, deal 2 damage is not really alot. But against aggro this is just lights out, and for that unique quality this will see play.

Aggro wrecker card, autosurrender for any aggro deck when that card cleans the board and adds 10~20 armor... Just for 2 mana.

Very strong card, too bad it even prevents you from playing Kazakus in your new FitB deck :(
Depending on the meta, this might require too much setup. But in the early days of the Barrens Meta, when aggro will be everywhere, this will be incredibly powerful.

Good against agro deck and can be played in combo with Barov. However i'm not a super fan of the 2 flat damage because in some spot will not clear the board and leave you in a precarious situation

As a Wild player, I don't think this will be seeing play in that format. The cost is too high for the damage dealt.

Comboes really well with Lord Barov, but 2 damage AoE for 4 is a bit slow.

This will probably give warrior a lot of armor against swarm decks.
It's fine, I guess. Lord Barov with this is a clear the board and gain a bunch of armor. On turn 7. That's the issue. On turn 7, against aggro, you most likely already won. Against control, armor is irrelevant. Against midrange, they want to summon a their big late game threats so single target removal is better.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

A very good card if it manages to clear the board since you can gain up to 14 armor, that'll make this a better Holy Nova. But that's a big if. Still, I think it's on the solid side, just another tool for Control Warrior decks to play around with. I dare say it'll see play if a strong control deck emerges.

Good early board clear and incidental armor gain for slower warrior decks. But, I think just as important is that it gives Warrior another tool for activating Frenzy effects.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.

Perfect for control warrior. Will see a lot of this if there are aggro decks in need of countering!
Pretty good board clear, although I don't love how much damage it might do to your own minions. The armor gain is quite nice, though. Warrior loves control cards, and this is just another arrow in the quiver.
I think this is a nice fill in to several warrior decks, and a GREAT anti-aggro tool.

Really good board clear that also offers survivability. The synergy with Lord Barov is nice too to make it useful even later in the game.

Feels like a lot of mana to invest if you don't get a bunch of Armor from it. Then again, Warrior excels at controlling the board until lategame, so maybe they use this decently enough.

For me this feels like a better Holy Nova (though not strictly better).

Consecration proves that a four-mana two-damage AoE is relevant, and this has scalable armor gain on top of the AoE. Rancor can just be a card that just shuts out aggressive decks, which means it will probably see a lot of play in Control Warriors.
