New Priest Minion - Lightshower Elemental

That is a huge card! N’zoth gonna love bringing this back, and I love the flavor and card name of this card

Wow - with some of the other New Cards that give Health to your minions when healed etc. this seems pretty bonkers.

Very good on it's own but i think this will be some sort of Power House in Priest.

Uh... Why wouldn't Priest run this? It's got great stats with fantastic effect so nice it activates twice (and maybe five more times)! If this only affected minions I'd perhaps be less generous, but the fact that it heals face makes this card more than excellent.

Also: Elementals make me happy. 

EDIT: Apparently this has Taunt and not Battlecry. Slightly less insane, but still a viable card!

control priest is back

That's a crazy lot of healing! Nice when Lightsteed is on the board. Also quite annoying to get resurrected, one could imagine.

You better OTK priest now because they wont die with little amount of damage each turn with all those heal cards.

Battlecry and Deathrattle was insane. Instead it's Taunt, not Battlecry. Still very impressive. 6/6 Taunt would mean healing an additional 6 health sometimes.

Very big value for priest .It even has taunt so you almost every time get the heal.Maybe you can make a control deck with n'zoth?

that is actually pretty damn massive in terms of recovery. 6 mana is a decent slot for that and if your opponent is playing the burn game and doesn't have silence this just wrecks them completely.

This card looks so freaking good. Solid stats, heal 16, and basically full heal your board twice. Plus, it's an elemental with a deathrattle, both of which have had archetype support in the past. Feels like an auto include

Edit: Welp, it's not battlecry/deathrattle heal 8 anymore. Uhhh...still a good card, but nowhere near as strong as I thought it was going to be.

A great taunt minion, which has an elemental tag, and might push nzoth priest, something I would always agree with.

A 6 mana 6/6 with taunt isn't dreadful. It's by no means good but it could be a lot worse. So healing all friendly characters by 8 seems very OP.

Okay, so it's not absolutely insane in terms of healing, but now it looks like just an okay card for N'zoth Priest (both of them actually)

AMAZING card for Control Priests, and N'Zoth, God of the Deep loves it! Priest needed a good elemental that wasn't [Hearthstone Card (Blood of G'hun) Not Found]. Healing for 6 is also really good, i guess this is the replacement for Khartut Defender, but only for priest. Lightshower Elemental seems super solid. I really hope N'Zoth, God of the Deep priest works, because that seems like a fair deck that doesn't feel that bad/annoying to play against.

Ragnaros, Lightlord now has a smaller, better cousin.

Great card - should see tons of play in Control or Midrange Priest

Turn 6 is when most aggro decks push for lethal, so this comes in at exactly the right time to get to the late game.

wow so much healing...

Its big, has taunt, and heals for a ton.

But its just a decent card that only really counters tempo-aggro. Most burn decks would want to avoid killing it, as long as they can hit face and the healing will likely be too slow in those matches. Im doubtful because cards like these tend never to make the cut, but with the core set being so weak it may be that playing cards like this past turn 5 is now legit.

This is insanely good. Would've been good without the taunt, would've been good without either battlecry or deathrattle, would be good without elemental tag. With all of them? Autoinclude.

Finally, a taunt minion for priest that I can kill without one of my minions dying.

In all seriousness though this is a very strong card. Compare it to Khartut Defender, this may be slightly easier to kill without the reborn, and it also only dies once which matters for resurrection purposes. But it also heals more and hits twice as hard. This will be a staple in control priest decks for a long time. It literally does everything you want from a priest minion. It taunts, it heals, it makes life difficult for aggro players, and you can resurrect it.

Ooooh, big healing for Priest this expac it seems! Works very well with both N'zoths, which is always cool to see.

Totally solid with the Taunt.  If it didn't have that, it would still be a pain to deal with on the board.

Solid priest card with upsides they love. Will definitely see play in a few types of decks.

Healbot is neutral. You cant compare neutral to class cards. Class cards > neutral.

the body synergizes with the deathrattle, and it's a LOT of heal.

it has synergy with both versions of n'zoth, and the taunt makes it a prime rez target. crushes aggro.

Not only is healing for 8 pretty good, Lightshower Elemental also has Taunt, protecting minions you already have on the board AND can help you keep your minions out of reach while they're value trading.

I love everything about this card. It's great for both midrange and control, and I am excited about how hard they are trying to give midrange tools to Priest.

People keep mentioning Rez Priest, but I find that very strange considering there may not be a full resurrection archetype after rotation. (I guess they must be talking about Wild?) In particular, this card doesn't work at all with Rally! and is unlikely to be fetched by Raise Dead so late in the game, and those are the only two rez spells left in Standard IIRC. There's N'Zoth, obviously, but I don't consider that "Rez Priest" so much as N'Zoth Priest since you can only do it once.

The name's a little close to "golden shower" for my taste, but whatever.

I love this. Its a solid mid game body and its far less toxic than that squid with the mask for five mana. On top of that it gives Priest something I feel they have actually lacked the last few expansions, which is healing.

This is a great card with good stats and man so much healing to board! It's gonna make Mordesh Fire eye run for its money.

This even works with both N'Zoths so I'd be shocked if this sees no play in either format

This is a pretty good minion with a great effect. I wonder if it would work with the horse.

taunt plus heal , sounds too good to be true

I love this kind of minion in Priest. It's not overpowered, but it is very thematic and will feel powerful. I suspect it won't take the place of Khartut Defender in any Wild Priest decks, though.

They just keep throwing interesting tribed minions at any class that doesn't regulary play N'Zoth, God of the Deep. Someone in Team 5 defintley made a contract with that molten squid.

Khartut Defender was annoying enough. No Reborn this time, but heals 8 to the hero and all their minions, instead of just 6 to the hero only. At least Grave Rune is going away.

Why is it that Taunt it's a thing in priest...the class it's about healing not tanking LUL.

This is just a better Khartut Defender for Priest. Granted, there won't be any resurrect synergy, which was the main way Khartut saw play in Priest. This makes me curious if Lightshower Elemental will see play in a more straight up Control Priest, but it may be just more efficient than Khartut to do so.

This could be an additional inclusion for wild big priest and I know that deck likes big taunt minions.

A solid card but I think against mage it would be slightly less useful and easily gotten rid off.

Happy as a control priest player. Very sad as a res priest hater.

Seems alright, at least in standard. Though if standard gets new resurrect stuff, this might end up as frustrating as "fElLoW hUmAnS", but we've got to stay positive, right?

I actually really like this minion, and the 8 health going to ALL friendly characters is an excellent heal option.

That is a nice stall for Priest. Obvious value in the taunt but the board wide heal is where it will really shine. If you already have some value trades set up, this guy will just make the value even better.

I'm not as over the moon about this card as most people seem to be. In standard, I think Khartut Defender would have been prefered if it wasn't rotating. Still, in case some taunt/heal/res priest is popping up, this card will be in there.

Packs too much defence for 6 mana not to see some play. That's an important slot in deck to fill, this is a better Khartut Defender, which was played plenty (but it was neutral, which made it important).

Very powerful, should see play in every Control Priest, maybe even a board orriented Midrange Priest?

That's a really strong card. It's nothing fancy, but it helps Priest in everything it wants to do.
