I don't like this kind of cards, not because they are overtuned (which this kinda feels like for 2 mana) but because it sends the clear message that riot intends only certain strategies to be hard to interact (those usually become meta defining) and others to be vulnerable.
It in a way predefines metas and is imo just on the lame side when it comes to game design.
How is this overtuned? Don't get me wrong the card is good but in the end of the day it's a chump block that only gives spellshield to either champions or landmarks. If it was also a fearsome blocker or could give spell shield to any unit I would agree with you.
This follower gives spellshield to ALL landmarks and champions which means that sun disk shurima gets a huge boost with this card being around becuase they are way less vulnerable and way harder to hate out of the meta if they should become strong
If spellshield was only one turn this would be a weak card. If this was a spellshield for landmarks only this would be a fair card. The fact that it is both make this an auto include in any shurima deck. X3 copies. This is an extremely valuable card.
At two mana hot damn either you drew the card you needed from the get go or you might be boned.
Shurima should win if they get all their stuff to go off and they do this however is gonna make them overpowered. Guess I know what I’m playing next season
