Pretty sure they said with the Darkmoon expansion that there would be a mini set with every expansion moving forward. Generally can be expected about halfway between expansions, or around 2 months after the main expansion release.

I would assume the set gets announced/revealed this week (or early next week) and then released sometime within two weeks.

If Barren launched at 30th march, I assume it will be released at 30th May. (2 months exactly)
But since 30th May is Sunday, I believe it will be dropped after. (Closest will be at Tuesday, 1st June / Thursday, 3rd June), with 3 days of card reveal before that, just like Darkmoon Races.

That is what I think too. Another reason is that if it drops early June there will be people who open their monthly rewards before the set is released, so there will be more temptation to buy it if you are out of packs (and just for the record - I do not wish to imply any "Blizz is greed, Blizz BAD" kind of reasoning, I think this is rational business thinking)
So if you count, from the release date of DMF (17th Nov) to the Release of DM races, the mini set (21st Jan) there's 66 days between the releases. If you count from the 30th of March (FitB release date), we land on the 3rd of June for an assumed release date of the mini set. This date seems likely as it's also a Thursday which the previous mini set was also released on. Also knowing blizzard, they wouldn't realistically release the mini set on the 1st of June, due to the end of month rewards guaranteeing mini set cards
So 3rd of June guys, 101% confidence in this predicted date

Its likely 2nd or 3rd June, simply because that's when that egregiously expensive 10 golden packs are off the shop.
