Easiest Fix For Irelia Azir

So as stated previously Irelia and Azir are only (overpowered) in the deck where they are both present.

Or more specifically when daggers spawn sandman effectively forming an extra full board attack with free resources.

Easiest fix - an attack consisting of summoned units can no longer trigger the spawning of summoned units. 

So daggers still work fine on their own, and sandman will work with scouts but Irelia Azir will no longer be quite as synergistic.

Not sure of this viable from a coding perspective but it would potentially fix everything without "nerfing" anything

    I assume what you mean is to take a page out of MTG's book where there is a clear distinction between creatures and tokens (things summoned by spells or creatures)? That would be effective, but it would likely require an overhaul of a lot of the game's code. Because the game doesn't already distinguish between units and summoned tokens, suddenly introducing tokens as a mechanic would require rewiring almost every other card in the game to work around tokens as a mechanic. But who knows, maybe they find a workaround that can solve the issue with relative ease.

    Yeah mtg is a good comparison.but there's already passage unearned meaning the game distinguishes between summoned and played units.

    In general I am convinced that Dunekeeper should become a 1/1.

    The ability to shoot 4 damage on turn 1 + his ability to spawn 2 units to chumb/sacrifize for 1 mana is too much for a 1 drop.

    I know this nerf is not specifical against azir irelia but shurima in general but it is justified.

    The proposed fix is unintuitive and also is making blade dance's idea pointless so I disagree that it is fixing the issue properly.

    If you want to fix the archetype higher it's curve by making Ribbon Dancer a 3 mana 2/2 and Flawless Duet costing 2 mana while givng irelia attune in return. the moment that bladedance comes at a higher cost it becomes comparable to rally and rally never was really unfair. 

    It still was a good archetype versus control but would leave many archetypes more room to breathe and proably kick the deck out of it's tier 1 spot.
