I Want Your Custom Champion Proposals

Submitted 2 years, 10 months ago by

Exactly like what the title says. It's been a long time since I've flexed my writing muscles, and I'm looking to get back into the game; here's my proposition: throw out ideas for champions, and I'll flesh out their design. The more coherent and sensible the better, although it could be as simple as "make Link from The Legend of Zelda!" or whatever. I'll write about their gameplay in League of Legends, their appearance, a blurb of lore, and even try to make a Runeterra card for them! I do all the work; all you have to do is start the process :D

Oh and please give me time to work on it: I have a full-time job and a couple games I try to stay "current" with in terms of daily quests and stuff in my downtime. I want to make a quality product for you, so I can't really pump these out quickly.

To get us started, I'll show you an example of what I'm looking to do, a champion concept I came up with about five years ago:

Qorval, the Cosmic Emissary

Overview
Qorval is an AP Mage, generally played in the Middle lane. Demonstrating mastery of the entities and forces of the cosmos, the dark wizard seeks to overwhelm his opponents with large swaths of Area of Effect (AoE) damage, with an emphasis on multi-hit abilities. Qorval doesn't win with a surgical strike for singular, massive damage (like a Ziggs' ultimate), but rather a constant oppressive drain against the health of his enemies (a la Vel'koz's ultimate).

Attack Power - Low
Ability Power - High
Defense - Medium
Difficulty - Low

Appearance
As an armored battlemage, Qorval's appearance shares similarities with characters such as Golbez from Final Fantasy IV, and the Magic Emperor Ghaleon from Lunar: Silver Star Story. A mysterious entity with a deep voice, hidden behind dark armor with a horned helm, pauldrons, and a cape. Covered head-to-toe, Qorval's true appearance is unknown, and whether he is actually human or not is subject to debate.

Debut Skin - "Comet Catastrophe Qorval" His armor would have more gray and blue in it, and his abilities are given an icy, cold theme: "frozen" meteors (like a hailstorm), comets instead of asteroids, and his Supernova is blue (which would mean it's actually hotter, according to science, but it's more for aesthetic reasons :P).

Abilities
Passive - Cosmic Alignment
When an enemy champion is struck by more than one of Qorval's abilities simultaneously, both abilities have their cooldowns reduced by (1, 1.25, 1.5) seconds.

This is cumulative for each enemy struck during a combo: if Qorval were to hit three champions with his Meteor Shower and Black Hole together, both abilities would lose 3-4.5 seconds from their cooldowns. If Black Hole were to end, but these same enemies were then hit with a combination of the remaining Meteor Shower and Asteroid Belt, MS would reduce by another 3-4.5 seconds, and so would Asteroid Belt.

Q. Meteor Shower
After a brief moment, meteoroids rain from the sky, bombarding the selected area. Each meteoroid inflicts its damage individually (like the Gangplank ultimate of old), accumulating damage over time as an enemy is struck by multiple shots.

W. Asteroid Belt
Qorval surrounds himself with a ring of boulders, pummeling enemies who remain within the area of effect. The summoned belt moves with Qorval, continuing to damage those who stay too close (very similar to Aurelion Sol's comets, but more of them).

E. Black Hole
A singularity is created at a targeted location, pulling in foes who stray too near. Similar in function to Orianna's ultimate but not instant, Black Hole inflicts no damage, but contributes towards a combo in regards to Qorval's passive. The pulling effect is stronger on those closer to the singularity's middle.

For clarity, let me mention that the strength of BH's pull would be relative to the enemy's position. If you're outside the range but walk near it, it would start to pull you in: if you're paying attention and move away accordingly within time you should be fine (unless you're knocked into it). If you're within the Black Hole, but not at its center, you better have some kind of movement ability like Ghost, Flash, or Master Yi's ultimate, or you're going in. If you are at the center, it's essentially the equivalent of a root, although something like Flash would still be an acceptable means of escape. While technically inferior to an actual root/snare, this is intended as compensation for the strength of Qorval's damaging abilities.

R. Supernova
Qorval erupts in a point-blank AoE pyroball, that engulfs the area around him as it expands in size. Qorval cannot move during this ability, nor cast other abilities, but all enemies who remain inside the area are subject to incredible damage over time. Note that the Supernova cannot be stopped: if Qorval is silenced, knocked up/away, or killed, the spell continues uninhibited from its original location, regardless of what happens to Qorval. His "channeling" of the ability is to compensate for the (frankly) massive damage it would provide.

Strategy
Qorval is a master of sustained damage; given ample opportunity, the dark wizard will utilize his large area of influence to pummel the enemy team into submission. Combining his abilities together, the damage over time drains the enemy's health while simultaneously refreshing his cooldowns so he can continue the assault. However, with minimal crowd control potential of his own, Qorval must rely on allies to hold enemies in place to maximize his damage output, and to maintain his survival by keeping them at bay.

Outside of Meteor Shower, Qorval's spells are generally medium-to-close range, meaning that he must build at least somewhat toward durability to trade his damage effectively. And yet, if he can survive long enough, his passive will allow him to continuously rain damage on his opponents, overwhelming them if they cannot escape from Qorval's effective range. Pulling enemies together with Black Hole, Qorval can apply Meteor Shower upon them before moving closer for Asteroid Belt. This triple-combo can refresh a significant amount of his cooldowns, and even more-so if given the opportunity to blast them all with Supernova as well. With sufficient mana reserves, Qorval can recover his spells off cooldown and be ready for the next fight...assuming any enemies still live.

Lore Entry
"Planets are...fragile.

Life and death, disaster and triumph; countless stories play out on a rock no greater than a marble compared to the vast expanse of the outer void. A beacon of spirit alone in the night, a grain of sand hidden in the darkness. And yet for all their spectacle, these small blips hold no control over their actions, exert no will over their domain. So full of life, and yet so lifeless themselves.

Pitiful.

A meteor slams into a planet's surface: devastation spans an area immeasurable. The structures are shattered, the people but ashes on the wind. Civilization has fallen. But the skies maintain their garrison of such force to a degree without count; the loss of one of their numbers is meaningless when viewed relative to the celestial horde. What is a man's achievements against that level of awe-inspiring strength?

Insignificant.

I have witnessed entire worlds on fire. Planets broken in half. Stars blinking out of existence, their great brilliance consumed by another greater still. I have looked into an abyss, that which contained within such power that nothing has ever held hope in escaping from it.

My journey has spanned the stars, and it has brought me here. To this...fragile planet. You squabble to remain in control of your lives, but it means nothing to me; all of your "might" means nothing to me. In comparison to the cosmos - the unyielding darkness, the innumerable asteroids and planets, the magnificence of the stars themselves - you are but insects, eclipsed both in magnitude and authority. How would you fare against such power?

How would you fare against one who wielded such power for themselves?

...You will know soon."

Friends/Allies: None
Rivals/Enemies: Azir, Bard, Lissandra

Unknown to the civilizations of Runeterra, Qorval has threatened the planet before, but all knowledge of his existence has fallen out of written record. Lissandra and Azir may yet be aware of Qorval's power, having come from an age long since past. As a guardian spirit that has existed through the centuries, Bard would similarly be in opposition to Qorval, in protection of the planet and its people.

And that's the gist. I have other champion concepts I can post, as well, which I might do if I don't get any takers right away. Thanks for giving this all a read, and double-thanks if you do wish to participate in this project/activity with me :)

Cactuars are fun, although they only have like two moves: 1000 Needles and running away lol. I'll make it work :D

Feedback first, ofc. Wow! That a lot of work. At start I thought that its only for LoR, then I saw the description of the abilities for LoL, then strategy and other stuff... I can't say anything about LoL part (not played it). LoR part - Because of the requirements for improving and L2 ability he looks like a Swain friend btw. He is like Karma, but only for spells with damage and the possibility to choice another target for the second copy of the spell. Works better with face damage nexus / pnz decks imo.

Ok, champion proposals. Someone from Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away. Haku, Yubaba, Zeniba, Kamaji or Faceless at your choice.

I dont know much about Spirited Away, but I'll do some research beforehand. I've got the Cactuar card done and some light writing in; still have to finish that one first.

    This looks super cool!

For my champ proposals, dimentio from super paper Mario or shovel knight from shovel knight would be nice, or if you aren’t familiar with either of those it’d be cool to see a champ that synergizes with shuffling cards into your deck

    Cactuar, Small But Pointy!

(Finding appropriate artwork was hard; I did the best I could.)

    Overview
Cactuar is an AD Marksman, traditionally played in the Jungle or in the Bottom lane. Fleet of foot and skilled in its needlework, Cactuar's diminutive stature hides a dangerous opponent. Many have underestimated this creature only to suffer a humiliating defeat as they are barraged by countless barbs, outwitted by a tiny, super-fast cactus...thing.

    Attack Power - Medium
    Ability Power - Low
    Defense - Medium
    Difficulty - Low

    Appearance

It's a Cactuar: a cactus-looking creature with three needles on its head and an oblong face. Pretty self-explanatory. They first appeared in Final Fantasy VI, but have since become one of the series' signature monsters.

Debut Skin - "Pointy Present Cactuar" (It's Cactuar wearing a Santa outfit. He shoots spiky presents at people.)

    Abilities
    Passive - Charge!/Flee!
Cactuar gains Movement Speed with levels, along with a temporary bonus stat depending on which direction it is moving:
    - Toward enemies or monsters: AD.
    - Away from enemies or monsters: Health Regen.
If Cactuar is not moving, it will continue to utilize whichever bonus stat it had when it was previously moving.

    Q. Jumbo Needle
Cactuar fires a giant needle in a line, damaging all it touches before stopping at the first enemy champion. Cactuar saves charges of this ability, up to 3 at max rank, and can fire them all in rapid succession.

    W. Kick
Cactuar gives an enemy a feisty cartwheel kick, very briefly knocking up said enemy and inflicting damage.

    E. Haste
Cactuar energizes itself with magic, speeding up its actions even more. Cactuar gains bonus Attack Speed, and each basic attack during this time will ever-so-slightly lower the cooldowns of its other abilities.

    R. 1000 Needles
Cactuar stands its ground and channels, firing seemingly-countless needles at a target enemy champion. These needles always connect but do small amounts of individual damage. Cactuar can channel for a very long time if it is not interrupted or killed. If the target champion dies or escapes Cactuar's range, Cactuar will automatically target the next-closest enemy champion.

"Why not just basic attack instead?" You might ask. The Damage-Per-Second (DPS) is greater with 1000 Needles, for one thing, and the range is better too. This allows you to stay focused on your target of choice like a needle-firing turret!

    Strategy
Cactuar is a master of in-and-out attack patterns, making it an ideal ganking jungler. Charge! will help the little guy speed into a lane, wherein it will promptly strafe the enemy champion with Jumbo Needles and/or giving them a good Kick. The bonus AD will increase its damage output, while the Health Regen can be used to top off as Cactuar retreats to the jungle. If played in lane, a pro player will know when to engage with Charge! and when to bide time with Flee!, switching back and forth as the situation dictates. 1000 Needles is best used after enemy crowd control has fired, to maximize uptime as the green menace unloads on its latest victim.

    Lore Entry
Taliyah's brow furrowed. She wouldn't consider herself an expert on the Shuriman desert (not yet, anyway), but this latest discovery was most curious. Whilst looking for blumlardi fruit she had chanced upon a seemingly-normal cactus...only this cactus had a face. A rather goofy face, to be honest, but a face nevertheless. It stood there, perfectly motionless, to the point where Taliyah wasn't entirely sure if the heat wasn't playing tricks on her. She leaned in for a closer look before pulling back, rubbing her chin.

"I'd love to tell the other kids about this. Maybe I should bring it back with me; it would be a neat addition to the camp. But...just to be sure..." she pondered before shrugging her shoulders, and, before she could reconsider, Taliyah poked the cactus in the "eye".

This was a mistake. The "cactus" gave a high-pitched chirp, and, in a sudden flurry of movement, did two things: fired a pointed dart right at Taliyah's abdomen, and promptly fled in the opposite direction. The needle struck true, and the Shuriman girl fell on her behind in shock.

"Youch! Hey, you, come back here!"

Taliyah grabbed her rock-board and made chase, gliding across the sand in pursuit of her little attacker. Although to be fair, Taliyah had started this, so perhaps she should apologize? She'd have to catch after it first, she thought, and the creature sure was fast. The chase lasted for over an hour, and the green cactus-man-thing never tired once. Eventually Taliyah was forced to give up and return to camp empty-handed, save for her strange tale.

"Quite the bummer...but something tells me I'll be seeing that little guy again." she said, rubbing her sore abdomen. She watched helplessly as the "cactus" sped off into the sunset.

    "You win this round."

    Friends/Allies: Taliyah
    Rivals/Enemies: Taliyah

"Frienemies" is a good description of Taliyah's and Cactuar's relationship, as their off-and-on encounters have been generally playful and good-natured (outside of their initial meeting, of course). Taliyah has since apologized to Cactuar, but whether or not the little guy accepted her apology remains a total mystery, as do most details regarding its existence.

Shovel Knight is fun! Never finished the whole thing because I didn't care for the King of Cards expansion, but the others were a blast. Maybe I'll find a way to include shuffling cards into his design :D After R's proposal, of course.

Everyone's requesting other characters from other games, but I want to see how you'd introduce another League champ into LoR, specifically Talon from Noxus. The reason I specifically mention him is that I have no clue how you'd translate him from League to LoR while still keeping the idea of the champion the same. I suppose some fugdging of the champion's identity is required to represent him in a card form, like how Darius, Renekton and Irelia are quite poor representations of the corresponding champions.

    ???

Just throwing it out there that I haven't forgotten about this: just trying to find time to properly do the Spirited Away request. YouTube has it but I would have to rent/buy the movie; I'd rather not do that. And I don't want to pirate it. So...yeah. Wikipedia might be the way to go lol

    Haku, the River Spirit

(We don't have a champion with Attune yet, so I played with the idea until I landed on this. I will admit that I created the card first, then the League of Legend abilities, so they might not sync up well.)

    Overview

Haku is an AP Support, generally played in the Bottom lane. Via his passive Dragonflight, he can fly across terrain to easily roam to the Middle lane or the Jungle, assisting his allies as he goes. The spell-caster has a variety of means for manipulating the battlefield, denying enemy movement and/or positioning allies for the perfect teamfight. When the battle's won, he can top off everyone's Health so they can push on to victory.

    Appearance

Haku appears to be a 12-year-old boy, but when his true identity is revealed, Haku takes on the form of a white-and-teal dragon of Asian heritage. Haku's real name is Nigihayami Kohakunushi - "god of the swift amber river" - and he is a river spirit.

    Abilities

    Passive - Dragonflight

When very close to a wall, long-pressing on the wall will cause Haku to fly over it. He can do this in Human Form and Dragon Form. There is a cooldown to this ability, but no cooldown for the particular terrain being traversed (unlike Talon's wall-jumping E, which has an insignificant cooldown on the ability but a long cooldown on the terrain itself).

    Q. Petal Burst/Force Field

Human Form: Haku blows a barrage of petals in a cone in front of him, slowing enemies and inflicting damage. Dragon Form: Haku binds an area with a cage of magic, snaring enemies inside and inflicting damage.

    W. Telekinesis/Guardian Veil

Human Form: Haku manipulates the objects on one's person, effectively pulling them toward him. This ability can be used on an ally or an enemy, although it only pulls them a certain distance (up to Haku's position). Pulling an enemy will damage them, as well. Dragon Form: Haku consecrates an area around him, warding off spirits. For a time, enemies cannot enter the area without assistance (as in, Flash or some other movement ability will work, simply walking in will not). Enemies already in the area may move as normal, but will take damage-over-time until they leave the area or the duration ends.

    E. Eat Up!/Hop On!

Human Form: Haku feeds himself and nearby allies magic food, restoring Health and a smaller amount of Mana. This ability has 2 charges, but casting them in rapid succession will result in a penalty to the second use's effectiveness. Dragon Form: Haku signals that he is ready for an ally to jump on his  back, wherein he can take them across terrain with his Dragonflight passive. Afterward, both Haku and the ally gain Movement Speed. His passive and this ability share a cooldown.

    R. Dragon Form

Haku takes on his true form as a river spirit dragon, gaining new abilities for a modest duration. Haku starts with Dragon Form unlocked.

    Strategy

Haku controls the battlefield to his and his allies' advantage, manipulating how and when the two sides engage one another. With Dragonflight, Haku can position himself to better aid the team, utilizing Hop On! while in Dragon Form to bring a friend along as well for surprise ganks or pincer moves. Petal Burst and Telekinesis are relatively small plays, slowing enemies or pulling a single target out of position for the kill, but Haku's ability to impact the field improves during the time he can spend in Dragon Form. Force Field and Guardian Veil can both stop whole groups of enemy champions from moving freely, restricting their access to Haku's weaker allies and/or eliminating their ability to escape. This comes at the cost of losing his heal, but it will be there for when the team-fight is nearing its end, to rally the troops or to top off the team as they move on to the next fight.

    Lore Entry

"He needs medical attention now!" Senna, Sentinel of Light exclaimed, dodging out of the way of the nearest ghoul.

"Well, try telling them that!" Lucian retorted, before blasting the aforementioned ghoul with a double-shot from his guns.

As the two went back-and-forth, taking down ghouls and lovingly bickering with each other, Haku grimaced, holding his bloody arm. The creatures may be small but their claws were sharp, and they numbered seemingly beyond count. The innumerable horde was very keen on defeating these two defenders, as their leader watched from the distance. The boy reached into his pack for a magic berry, one that would help kick-start the healing process. Ever since he appeared in this strange and hostile land, Haku had committed himself to hiding his abilities as best he could, lest he become ensnared in this other realm. But the thought of continuing said strategy dwindled with the daylight, as more and more of the snarling undead came into view.

"I had hoped it would not come to this..."

He was not heard by Lucian or Senna, the banter between the lovers continuing along with their gunplay; a beautiful dance as they worked in perfect sync. Any ghoul that came within reach was swiftly put down. So focused on the combat at hand, they had almost become oblivious to the boy, who stumbled to his feet.

"They just keep comin'!" Lucian cried, firing in all directions. The ghouls indeed kept up their advance, two more replacing each one that was defeated. Crawling over their fallen comrades, a ring of bodies surrounding the trio, the undead continued with a slavish hunger.

"This might be the end of us, for good this..." Senna lamented.

The rest of her words were drown out, as a whoosh of air nearly knocked her off balance. And in that moment, everything stopped: the two gun-wielders, the ghouls, and even the boy...except, Senna noticed, the boy was missing. In his place was a majestic creature, with white scales and a teal mane. It surveyed the field before soaring into the air. The dragon - because what else could describe it - swirled around the lovers, knocking away ghouls that were too stunned to react. It then covered the ground in what appeared to be petals, magically shielding the area from the encroaching Black Mist. The dragon turned to Lucian and Senna and spoke.

"Get on, if you want to live!"

The two did just that, before Haku took them up into the sky, away from the battlefield and the Mist entirely.

In the distance, Viego frowned. This was...an unexpected development.

I did that without watching the movie, so I hope it's okay D: I used this website to help me think of abilities and the like.

Don't boo at me, but I really like everything except the LoR cards. L1 card doesn't really do anything at all and it's just a 5/5 for 6 mana. L2 reminds the modified Karma (even in the same region). And as for champion it's not enough uniqueness. Maybe deny ability, add spells in hand (magic food), move other characters, elusive keyword, etc. Once again - I like LoL part, adapted abilities and the fact that they change in true form. Thank you!

    Boo! Boo!

I kid. Looking at them again...I can totally see it. I back-loaded the level 2 form with the copy ability, so I got scared and made the level 1 basically worthless :/ I'm sorry about that. If I redid the card, I would adapt from the LoL abilities better for sure.

    How about this?

Now Haku actually puts his Attune to work, and gives you something to build your deck around. Attune can be seen as his Eat Up! ability, while the Stuns are akin to his crowd control. Bilgewater + Ionia Attune-Stun deck with Yasuo, perhaps?

...I just noticed that I forgot the Dragon label on the level 2. Whoops. Pretend it's there :P

Cool change. Attune now fits even better and has a unique effect. But this limit its usability by two regions with attune cards. Stun keyword has only three regions btw... Maybe make it "When you refill spell mana..."? This change add five cards from other three regions and still works with attune effect. For instance, Flash of Brilliance should help to level up him in one turn.

    Shovel Knight, Justice in Spades!

(I'd like to think the Relics are strong spells that provide buffs or target enemies. Throwing Anchor stuns, Flare Wand deals damage, Phase Locket provides Barrier for a round, etc. Probably could have the Elite tag; all well.)

    Overview

Shovel Knight is an AD Fighter, usually taken in the Top lane or the Jungle. While small in size he is nevertheless capable of great feats of strength and wisdom. His Relics provide him a versatility that's not always present in Fighters, and his shovel can unearth gems for additional gold to outpace his opponents. Shovel Knight's prowess in battle goes up another notch when Shield Knight is present, showing just how important they are as a team!

    Appearance

Shovel Knight wears blue armor with a horned helmet. He is named after his weapon of choice, the Shovel Blade.

Debut Skin - "Rival Shovel Knight". Shovel Knight takes on the red-and-black appearance of the ferocious Black Knight!

    Abilities

    Passive - Shovelry
Killing minions or monsters has a chance for a gem to appear. Picking it up provides random gold (based on level) to Shovel Knight, although enemy champions can step on the gem to crush it. Enemy champions will always drop a gem when Shovel Knight assists in defeating them.

    Q. Charge Slash
Shovel Knight swings his shovel in an arc, damaging all enemies in front of him. Charging the ability increases the size and damage of the swing, but temporarily reduces Shovel Knight's Movement Speed.

    W. Shovel Drop
Shovel Knight leaps into the air before crashing back down in a targeted location, damaging enemies in the area and stunning them.

    E. Relic Time!
Shovel Knight rummages through his Relic collection, pulling one out and using it. Pressing E will cycle through the Relics, while holding the button will activate the selected Relic. The outcome depends on which Relic is used:
    - War Horn: Shovel Knight blows on the horn, blasting the area around him and knocking enemies back.
    - Propeller Dagger: Shovel Knight dashes forward, stopping at the first enemy hit and damaging them. If they die, Shovel Knight can dash again.
    - Phase Locket: Shovel Knight briefly becomes invincible and capable of walking through enemies.

    R. Reunited
Shield Knight appears for a time, with her own Health bar and abilities. She will automatically seek out enemies and attack them, prioritizing enemy champions. When Shovel Knight moves up to Shield Knight she will bounce him into the air, allowing him to Shovel Drop for free, even if his ability is on cooldown. There is a small cooldown before Shield Knight can bounce Shovel Knight again.

    Strategy

Shovel Knight's Shovelry passive allows him to accrue gold at a pace faster than the other players if no one interrupts him, so he is generally played in areas where he can more safely acquire the gems; i.e: the Top lane or the Jungle. While he has no built-in sustain to speak of, his Charge Slash and Shovel Drop do provide AoE damage for clearing jungle camps. Relic Time! has access to additional crowd control, a dash, or protection, meaning one must employ intelligent awareness of which Relic to use at the appropriate time: Propeller Dagger can help you gank lanes and close the distance for kills, while Phase Locket or War Horn are best used within a teamfight. Finally, with Reunited, Shovel Knight's beloved Shield Knight returns to the field, enhancing his damage output and making him a stunning-machine: Shovel Knight can Shovel Drop onto a group of foes to start a fight, then bounce with Shield Knight to do it again! Everything's better when you're working together.

    Lore Entry

"You know I speak the truth." LeBlanc whispered from the shadows.

Shovel Knight tightened his grip on his shovel-blade, steeling his resolve as he inched forward. This was no ordinary enemy; he would have to be careful.

"You have to accept reality: you'll never find her." LeBlanc continued.

As Shovel Knight peered into the darkness on his right, a flash of light came from his left. He swept his shovel across his body, swatting the energy ball back whence it came. A statue, barely noticeable in the darkness, was struck by the light and exploded, collapsing in a heap of rubble. The room was very briefly illuminated; the woman's location, however, remained undetectable. Her words echoed throughout the chamber:

"Your beloved Shield Knight is gone."

Shovel Knight remained composed, unfazed by his opponent. Another bolt of light came his way, landing at his feet. He hopped back easily; too easily, perhaps. Was she toying with him?

    "Over...here!"

LeBlanc cackled as she dashed from behind a statue, right up to Shovel Knight's face. He brought his shovel down in an overhead strike, but it hit nothing but air as her clone evaporated. She was definitely toying with him. This continued repeatedly, energy balls and mirror images making for a lot of flash, but no great amount of damage. Seeking to end things, Shovel Knight pulled out his War Horn and blew on it.

The effect was immediate. Every statue was blasted by the air, being knocked away or destroyed outright. Amidst the sound of crumbling metal and stone came a pained grunt, but it was swiftly silenced. Shovel Knight pulled out his Flare Wand and sent out fireballs to and fro, looking for his mysterious tormentor. But again, she could not be found.

Standing silently in the darkness, Shovel Knight took a deep breath. Steadying himself. Preparing. LeBlanc came at him once more, but Shovel Knight didn't move this time; instead, he calmly watched as the clone disappeared again. When two images of LeBlanc appeared from the shadows, he was ready. Shovel Knight blocked the clone's staff-strike with his shovel blade and, with a movement surprisingly fast for someone in a suit of armor, brought his other hand around to grab the real LeBlanc by the top of her head. She struggled under his grip, but couldn't escape.

"Wha...? Impossible! How did you know?"

Shovel Knight was matter-of-fact when he finally spoke.

    "You wear too much perfume."

He then smacked LeBlanc in the face with his shovel, knocking her out.

    This looks super cool!

For my champ proposals, dimentio from super paper Mario or shovel knight from shovel knight would be nice, or if you aren’t familiar with either of those it’d be cool to see a champ that synergizes with shuffling cards into your deck

Sorry I only just got around to adding the Lore Entry to Shovel Knight, but it's finally done :) Been a busy, draining week

Here's what I have for Talon; I apologize for how slow I've been getting this stuff out:

You've got his Passive with the bleeding, Rake is his W, and his E and R are indirectly incorporated into his level 2 form via the Elusive he gains. I wavered on a couple things, namely the level up requirement, how much Health he should have, and whether or not to give him Quick Attack:

    • The requirement was originally "kill an enemy champion", which I think is cool, but could be quite difficult depending on the matchup. His level up is still difficult, though, so maybe it should be relaxed somehow.
    • His Health is low because he gains Elusive, and I want him to be a "backline champion that becomes an attacking champion", like Azir does.
    • I decided against QA because he gains Elusive, which is arguably more powerful, and I didn't want him to be too overloaded.

If anyone is interested in Talon, you can go here to learn more: https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/champions/talon/
