4 Mana for a 4 Damage Lifesteal?! Why would I ever- wait this can go face.
Still, I think only a Shadow Priest deck will play this, both because it's a Shadow Spell and as one of their suddenly limited forms of healing.

Even it if is kinda nice because it can go face this will only be played in Shadow Priest Decks.

Face Priest is real. Be afraid.
Also a neat little discovery option in Control Priest if you are desperate for healing.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Shadow priest lacks in healing stuff, and can go face and deal with taunts. Usefull addition for the archetype.

Insane for the Shadow Priest deck as it needed more healing. This is a 4-8 health swing for each one when shot at the face.
Nice healing options for Shadow Priests. The fact that it is damage to anywhere on top of the healing makes it very good for them.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.

Shadow Priest needed some solid face damage. This having Lifesteal to keep you topped up is a good bonus.

Desparately needed healing for Shadow Priest, understatted removal for other priest decks.
I even like this for control priest, very nice.
Interesting: this is Shadow, but Penance is Holy. I guess a card's name is more important for spell school than what it does.

This would be one of those Lifesteal cards to make Shadow Priest with Psyfiend work. Not a whole lot of options here, just this, Devouring Plague and some neutral healing Battlecries.
This is so high cost, it seems kind of bad.
Will be needed for sustaining with the new archetype.

I love shadowpriest. I love face damage in priest. But something about the card art on this and the silencing shard feels very boring to me? Like they were out of ideas for spells.

This goes everywhere! Definitely on the more expansive side of the continuum, but still viable in the right deck, like you mentioned

I don't think it's good. No body. Deal 4, heal 4 when behind isn't saving you. Shadow Priest will be very different than priest decks now if they run this.
Chumbawumba is the worst band name.
you might just want this in shadow priest, because you need some spells with lifesteal

I am 69 years old and still reach Legend
Me before i saw that it could go FACE: "meh seems way too expansive, pretty bad."
Me after seeing it can go FACE: "okay it looks a bit more usefull, still a bit expansive but at least priest got some kind of burst damage."
Will see play in shadow priest. And thats it, control priest probably wont play it.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Healing and removal for Shadow priest, Nice. Super simple spell, but it'll do. Luckily team 5 buffed Tidal Surge earlier this year
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
It's nice that this can go face for if you need some reach, but this is too expensive to be as removal, so all in all a very mediocre card.
Arena > Wild > Standard
With all the discount that priest can have, this will be a solid "Let's have 1 more shadow spell to play."

Very good self sustaining for a shadow priest
A nice and balanced tool for both offense and defense, I can see it being included consistently in shadow Priest decks
5/5 absolutely amazing in any Shadow Priest deck, because you need that healing. Not too bad a card outside that as well, since the flexibility of being able to hit face can be really useful and hasn't been as available to Priest lately.
