New Neutral Minion - Lady Prestor

Number 1 nerf candidate.

I've been playing lots of Priest for the last few months and let me tell you just how good Draconic Studies is because of the limited Dragon Pool. If you smack this as a win condition into, say, Zoolock with a bunch of low cost cardss with decent stats you can almost guarantee you'll get some really insane stuff thanks to Alexstrasza, Ysera, and Protodrake. My only hope is that it's too awkward to just shove this into a midrange deck as a lategame final gambit or else we're going back to randomania (Deck of Lunacy proved that this is a bad idea)

You don't need all your cards to become insane dragons. Just enough to steamroll your opponent.

With the limited number of dragons in Standard right now, it's not unreasonable to get multiple copies of low-cost value generators like Skeletal Dragon, Ysera the Dreamer, or just kill the opponent outright with multiple Alexstrasza the Life-Binder.

Even tough the cards keep their Stats i think this can be insane. 

Also i realy love Lady Prestor :) 

6 mana do nothing? Nah, I think this will be too slow. Great card for Trolden clips and some memorable Arena runs, but that's about it.

Aggro Dragon any class, eh?

Wow, bonkers in duels. You can transform all useless cards you had to choose into dragons.

Can be a good 'all-in' card for an aggro deck that cannot kill the enemy quickly.

I like It.

Too random to be meta, but the high roll of this giving a bunch of low cost deal 8/heal 8 is nuts. 

Five stars purely for the insane highroll potential. So do you cram a bunch of low cost and high stat minions (the ones with the drawbacks) or do you try for a large glut of 4-5 cost cards so you still get decent stats on your random dragons? Also, do you run the five mana taunt that draws your highest minion (don't judge, my mind is drawing a blank now and I'm too lazy to open a new tab to  search for it) and leave her as the top  end?

I don't think it's super great but certainly super fun

Looks really fun and gives an interesting deck building idea because they keep the stats too! Glad this one is the free one, will make for some interesting builds.

This could be fun in wild burgle rogue.  

Step 1.  Get Tess in your hand

Step 2. Play Academic Espionage

Step 3.  Play Lady Prestor

Step 4. Profit!

I wish it would be "Start of Game" instead of "Battlecry". But it would be totally OP :) 

The only hope this card have is in a rogue deck, or an aggro deck that's really desperate for a plan against control.

Its difficult to evaluate cards like this because this is practically an eject button. A just-in-case button than 90% of the time you're hoping you never have to press it because no one plays a crap deck just so this card can shine.

Do you just play it on 6? I can't say that its always a yes. Then when the hell is the right time to play it? Most control decks can't consistently outvalue midrange, let alone value decks. So in what scenario does the button get pushed? Its only ever a clear cut with an aggro deck.

The best I can think of would be to play aggro pirate warrior, complete the quest (or have fuel for it) then play this so you have both cpt rokara and a bunch of powerful dragons. But its just such a slow play I can't rightfully recommend it.

This can actually be really insane in decks with a bunch of cheap minions as a top-end that you tutor with Taelan Fordring. I don't think people who hate on this card realise quite how strong the effect of a random dragon is.

but still, a low stat dragon is not impressive, if they didn't retain the stats now that would be something.

If there were a lot of fun things that dragons do with battlecries and deathrattles but we had to wait till late game, this would be super fun.  Other than that, I am not seeing a lot of ROI for this investment

BUT.. now that I think of it, the new legendary dragons are pretty ridiculous given the power that they represent late game... Nevermind, this will be fun to play

This is interesting, you'd have to draw it and it does nothing on play, and because the dragons keep OG cost cheaper minions seems the way to go. It's a bit like the cards turning everything legendary, but they will actually be cheap and more consistantly good.

This will push Dragon Priest into a higher Tier, possibly even T1. This will definitely see a lot of experimenting on launch day (me included).

4 stars for fun, but it isn't good. 

I'm not sure how great this will be, but I certainly won't complain about a 2 mana Alexstrasza the Life-Binder.

Fun but way too incosistent of effect

Seems very good as some kind of late game card for aggro decks. Run out of tempo against control? Play Lady Prestor and get dragons. Reminder: Draconic Studies often sees play because dragons in standard just have insanely good effects. Often you dont even care about the stats. Just imagine 1-2 mana Ysera the Dreamer or Alexstrasza the Life-Binders. Or even other dragons like Plagued Protodrake, Runaway Blackwing and Onyxia the Broodmother.

In standard it seems good as a "comeback" kinda card for aggro. Which they will only need if control ever gets good again, which i doubt as long as for example: Shaman can do like 16+ dmg just with Doomhammer RELIABLY in 1 turn. (often turn 6)

In wild its probably just a meme card or something.

Hard to imagine this card being competitive, but it does look fun and should make for some interesting moments with big dragons costing 1 mana

There are a lot of really good Dragons in the pool. I can already see meme decks with just low-cost minions and draw spells trying to cheese a win with this.

Well even tough i only used her three times since i played the deck - she can be a lot of fun and very powerful. Made a DemonZoo List with her and so far it performs pretty well. 

Right now im 10-2 - but the list is sureley not refined and from Day one.

One time i used her with coin on 5 and got pretty crazy Dragons - like a 1 Mana Alex for example :)
