Competition Theme: Evergreener Pastures
It's time to look at the most basic elements we've got and see what we can do to spice them up!
- You must create a card which synergises with a basic Evergreen Keyword
- Ooh, capital letters! The explicit list of basic Evergreen Keywords (for this competition) is:
- Show SpoilerTaunt, Rush, Charge, Divine Shield, Stealth, Lifesteal, Poisonous, Windfury and Spell Damage
- We've deliberately not included Battlecry, Deathrattle, Freeze and Discover because they all require more words to work; while Evergreen, they aren't basic

- Voting Phase: Starts on Sat, Nov 6 17:00 EDT (GMT -0400). Runs until Sun, Nov 7 16:00 EST (GMT -0500)
- Finalist Phase: Starts on Sun, Nov 7 17:00 EST (GMT -0500). Runs until Mon, Nov 8 17:00 EST (GMT -0500)
- Winner Selected: After finalist voting concludes and we validate votes.

Welcome to the site!
I hope this is understandable as written: the idea is that, while a friendly minion has DS, it has Lifesteal; when it loses DS, it loses the Lifesteal. Obviously works best with someone like Goody Two-Shields, who can regain their Divine Shield. Could even make The Glass Knight worth consideration!
Hey, I got two DS Paladin cards that happen to work perfectly for this.
Titanic Sentinel may have its Attack reduced to 7 based off of some previous feedback about it, but here they are for you guys! And I didn't feel like remaking it just yet. XD
Now that Link and I both have DS Paladin cards, let's see something else! (if you have it of course)
I also made a card related to losing Divine Shields lol (as well as a bit of help for Windfury because the keyword has always been terrible)
Theron - destroy a random enemy minion when lose Divine Shield isn't it too much in the wolrd where Lothraxion the Redeemed exist?
Does this count? Wording is ok? Not sure.
First idea, wanted something that synergises with both Divine Shield and Taunt:
Not 100% set on name and stats. I'm also contemplating giving it either Taunt or Devine Shield as well.
Feedback (lots of DS here, wow):
linkblade91: Not sure a lot of people would run this, since breaking DS looses you the Lifesteal. It also encourages going face instead of trading, which kinda goes counter to DS.
Demonxz95: I think both are a tad strong, mainly because of Lothraxion the Redeemed in Odd Pally. I think the Sentinel is a tad more balanced.
Wailor: Hopebringer is interesting, but I don't see you having that many DS minions on the board at the same time. The Elemental works better, though it needs some support around it.
R: Seems balanced, since a typical deck doesn't run that many Poisonous cards.
My ideas, this time a bit simpler than my last submission in terms of flavor and potential execution. The Elemental from Vortex is Water Elemental for reference.

Shouldn't it just say "a 3/6 Water Elemental", then? I know it messes with the neat text box, but it can definitely fit.
I crave for clean spacing on my cards. I am sure it would've fit, but man do clean text alignments please everyone's eye.

Feedback time (I'm writing this from my phone, sorry for the shitty format)
@linkblade91 I like the card, even though it is true that it encourages to go face instead of trading. I'd probably change the name, since right now, it's too similar to Noble Mount
@Demonxz95 I prefer the legendary, because its effect is very unique. Since many people are saying it's too dangerous, I'd probably increase its cost or drop the Divine Shield.
@R cool card. The wording is mostly right, although, if I had to be nitpicky, I'd say it should say "a Poisonous minion" instead of "a minion with Poisonous".
@Neoguli Water Vortex cannot participate, since Freeze is not a keyword in the list. Not that it matters much, because the Druid card is cooler imo
One of my initial ideas. I've wanted to use this art for a long time and a Lifesteal synergy card seems like the best fit.
Here's a simple card. Bit busy for a few days, so I won't be giving a lot of feedback.
New idea, since the first two weren't well received. Not sure if I should keep an aggressive statline or give it a more defensive one to encourage favorable trading.
I haven't discarded the other two cards, so I'd like to know which one you prefer.

@Nirast sorry, I forgot giving you feedback. I like the effect and the flavor fits both classes. Maybe I'd change the second part to "and viceversa" to make the text less clunky to read. It could also use a slight buff (like +1 Health for instance)
@Bloodmefist I like the effect, but the pseudo-Rush makes it more fitting for Demon Hunter, imo. If you go this route, you should change the watermark as well (maybe to the Halloween one if you want to keep the artwork, which I agree is quite awesome)
@AeroJulwin I really like the effect, but the artwork could be better and Stormwind doesn't look like a fitting expansion, at least flavor-wise. It also looks like a Shaman card, but I guess it could stay Neutral.

I like Argus Hopebringer. The effect is a little bit situational to use, but in the proper deck, it'll probably do its job pretty well. I really like the artwork too. Thumbs up overall.
Gust Incarnation has a pretty nice idea that fixes the inherent problem with Windfury. I get that Windfury is sort of a Shaman keyword (at least in terms of flavor), but I feel like I would prefer it if it were a Neutral card, if only because Windfury is such an underpowered keyword.
Sneaky Rodent is a fun Stealth-synergy card. I like it!
I made another version of Noble Valiant Steed, dropping the Lifesteal for +2 Attack:
Same deal as before, in-that the Attack bonus is lost when the Shield pops. Can be used to trade up, or go face of course. I was told +3 Attack was too much, so...here ya go.
Wailor - I like Sneaky Rodent the best. I would keep the aggressive stat-line because, in my opinion, that's the point: he goes face in a Stealth deck, while the others lose their Stealth to keep him going for chip damage.
AeroJulwin - Seems okay. There's a bit of a disconnect between wanting Spell Damage (for, you know, spells), and wanting to copy a Rush minion, but it could work together in a Control deck. Not sure what it has to do with Stormwind, though.
BloodMefist - Already gave you my thoughts on Discord, and we seem to agree on the next step :)
Neoguli - I still think it should say "Water Elemental". That being said, I like Wispering Sorcerer more.
Nirast - It's kinda goofy. An amusing card, but even with stats closer to vanilla I don't think anyone would use it.
R - I saw that you already submitted, but Yes, it should be fine.
Demonxz95 - Lose the DS on Theron, or lose the Lifesteal on the Sentinel. I think they're good-to-go after that.
Synergy with Stealth by having this minion basically become what Akama Prime wished he was, an infinite sneaky minion, but also with the added effect of turning Spymistress, Sweet Tooth, Skyvateer, Patient Assassin and all the other Stealth minions into removal.
EDIT: Huh, just saw Wailor's card. Welp... yeah, i think mine is too similar right? i swear i didn't even look at the posted cards before i made this (which in hindsight is something i should have done).
