Is Sneed epic or rare?

I just saw that I can craft Sneed for 100 coins. So I thought "No I won't craft a rare Merc". But than I searched for missing epics and Sneed was shown in the results! I checked on this site and he is marked as epic, too.
So is this a bug in my favor or is the rarity gem incorrect?

I'm pretty sure its a bug, and. Sneed is supposed to be a epic merc, but for some reason it says that you can craft sneed with 100 sneed coins despite sneed having the epic rarety gem in-game. I have the exact same bug and when i try crafting him when i have <300 coins, it will play the crafting animation but it doesn't actually give me the merc. Luckely it doesn't waste your coins when you try crafting Sneed when you have <300 coins, so the bug is just a visual one. Considering how fast they patch Mercs bugs compared to normal HS bugs, i wouldn't be surprised if this gets fixed soon.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Its a confirmed bug. Might be a visual bug to be exact, and if you have 300 coins then the game will allow you to craft him, I havent seen any news anywhere confirming this but I read it somewhere in reddit. Otherwise, you'll see the crafting animation but when you let go everything goes back, mercifully without deducting your coins.
Yeah, I was a bit too happy to see a chance to get an epic on the cheap, but stuff like that is obviously a visual bug or it'll be fixed within hours.
If its any consolation, Sneed's not very good to be honest. Tried him and couldn't for the life of me think why I'd use him over many others.

For what i know Blizzard developed Sneed as rare merc , than before update they changed it to epic , they changed gem color but forget or no time to clientside client interaction , at first infact Sneed was craftable for 100 coins and server was confirming the craft, then someone reported it on reddit and Blizzard lurkers noticed it so they fast serverside patched , but they cant clientside patch without game update.
So when you craft for 100 now , client side register it and send it to blizzard server who replies NOPE!
