Arena card if I ever saw one. Counterfeit Coin or The Coin would love to see this out on the second turn, but other than that, it's just filler for Arena
This is at best a 3 mana 4/5 which is great stats, but not something you put into a deck. Arena this will maybe see play, but even then I think you'd be better off with other 3 drops.

Good arena card. But is so mundane that its practically combo filler in ranked. I cannot for the life of me understand why'd anyone would want to play this unironically in a standard ranked deck, because we're coming close to the point where even a 4/5 on 3 is no longer good enough, and this one needs to be combo-ed out to even start dreaming of being viable.
Oh well, filler is filler. There's no much else to say

Weirdly, Blizzard's own database bothers to list Chillwind Yeti as a related card for Coldtooth Yeti. I mean, yeah, it IS related, but they normally only list generated tokens (and very occasionally generated collectible cards) here, not thematically linked cards. That's not a bad thing, just unexpected.
As for the design, it reminds me of the early days of HS when they hadn't really settled on how to design minions for rogue. Back then (up to and to some extent including Whispers of the Old Gods) rogue actually got a lot of the most chonky midrange minions, even having combo versions of Boulderfist Ogre (Shado-Pan Rider) and River Crocolisk (Bladed Cultist). That never really worked for the class, even back then, so the new yeti has no hope in constructed now. Still, it is pretty good to play alongside a turn 3 Coin + Scabbs Cutterbutter, which would often love a yeti instead of an SI:7 Agent sending 2 damage to the face, so I'm sure I can find a use for it.
Lol, definitely a meme comparison to Chillwind Yeti. Will be good in arena I'm sure, coz that's where he'll be living.

I have no idea if this would ever be used in contructed but hey...turn 2 coin Yeti is a thing now I guess.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Fits in the long tradition with Bladed Cultist and Shado-Pan Rider of cards that combo from below to above vanilla stats, and that never will see play.
Perfect card for the very few Arena players out there. I do not see it worth it for constructed though.
Probably not good enough for constructed, even though you can easily imagine the kind of crazy swing turns you could have with this and Scabbs Cutterbutter.
WOW Chillwind Yeti for 3 mana if you can get the combo off! INSANE, everyone knows how OP AF Chillwind Yeti is. Who thought powercreeping that was okay?!??!?!??!?!
Okay now i'm done with being memey. Coldtooth Yeti is a arena card at best.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

Well, I suppose 4/5 is good stats for 3 mana, but there are far stronger cards.

I think the best scenario is coin + this on turn 2. The rest are unoptimal scenarios with a 1 cost card before playing it

Three mana 4/5 is good. It is too bad Rogues want their combos to do something else besides summon slightly over statted minions. Turn two coin into this would be nuts though.
Unfortunately, common sense isn't as common as it should be.
Actually pretty powerful on Coin or with Foxy Fraud on 3. Solid card for Tempo Rogue decks to consider.

Decent tempo, and a better Chillwind Yeti when the Combo goes off. Could see play in Tempo or aggressive Rogue decks that have enough cheap ways to activate the combo (Foxy Fraud, for instance). You have to at least try it if you're running a Tempo deck.
