Elise Starseeker: Queen of BMing

I pre-ordered this expansion for only one reason: the sexy druid, Elise Starseeker!!!

I have never had so much fun BMing in my entire life!!! Some of you probably still believe this art (yeah, BMing is a type of art ;) ) is bad and childish, but c'mon, we play games to have fun after all, and what is more fun than making fun of your opponents when they cannot hit you in the face because you are behind a keyboard??? :D :D :D

I'm totally convinced this hero is perfect for the job. Why? Let's take a look at her best emotes:

- "You have legendary skill, my friend" (Well Played): Totally savage when you use it to mock your opponents (which is 100% of the time, probably).

- "I will teach you a lesson" (Threaten): This emote is perfect to spam and also, to use it at the begining of any match. Just for using it only one time, your opponent knows already you are an arrogant douche full of yourself!!! :D :D :D

And finally...

- "This is a... teaching moment" (Oops): Perfect emote when you have lethal, makes you look arrogant and superior to your opponent (just like the Threaten emote does), but the most important thing about it is that it also fits perfectly after a match of spamming "I will teach you a lesson", which usually makes your opponent insanely angry and salty, because well, you had it planned all the time, my friend, didn't you? ;) ;) ;) Receiving a friend request because of this is not a rare thing, my dear ex-Hearthpwners. :D :D :D

For this three reasons (and probably many more...) Elise Starseeker is THE QUEEN OF BMING!!! Or do you think there is already other hero in the game better for the job? Make a comment on this thread to prove me wrong, please. :) :) :)

Stop. I didnt want to get the bundle before. I do love my newest shaman hero. I dont like to do the annoying BM (read spamming) but a few of his phrases at the right time feel pretty good

She's great for BM'ing but I wish they swapped the art for the Elise card and the Elise hero portrait.  Haven't purchased it though.  I'm hoping to win it....  Hey flux about that drawing....

Nothing wrong with emoting. I always turn it off and only emote if im up against a big priest.

However " suffer as the wildlands suffer" is a pretty good emote in my opinion. Jaina DK emotes are pretty savage too

The lines are great but she doesn't say them with the right emotion to convey what you're trying to do except for maybe the well played

A simple "Wow..." is all Anduin needs to deliver the same intent with his tone

Even when I sleep, I can still hear him going "HELLO!" in my dreams...

I like Elise too, even if I think I won't buy the preorder.

However, if you want to BM someone, you should say something like "YOUR ARROGANCE WILL BE YOUR UNDOING!" just before dropping a Mecha'Thun.

I think this is an interesting aspect of HS, since its rng nature it can trigger some strong emotions, which can be triggered/aggravated by the right emote at the right time. I always try to be cool, but when faced with some bad rng which makes me lose or gets me a lot behind early in the game I sometimes yell out in agony and land my fist hard on the table. Did not eat my keyboard yet. And when I get irritated by the emotes of the opponent I just press squelch. And most of the time I do not hear it very loud since I have music on and the output volume of HS is almost 0.

I been playing a Maly/taunt druid so I could use her.  I don't really care for token druid.  Her emotes are fun though!  I really miss Frost Lich Jaina.  She had some of the best!

and in wild druids swith to Malfurion the Pestilent

although i quite like DK malfurion line "the cycle of decay begins"

Elise still looks like a genuine, gentle character.

THIS. I loved hitting my opponents with this right before delivering lethal. Garrosh's tone is just perfect--the way he drags the word out makes it seem like he's mocking the opponent while standing over him.

OMG you're right.  I still remember a game where my opponent, as her, healed herself to full from near death and basically had the game on lock.  I got worried that I had lost at that point, then THAT emote came out.

F... U.  DOUBLE that because she was right.

I'm weird though.  Things like wow spam doesn't really bother me. In fact, those live action card reveals with that priest ruined it: now I just find it funny.  But emotes that comment on the situation accurately really REALLY hurt.

So yeah, seeing a game where I screwed up and, right at the end be told "this is a ..teachable moment" is going to suck. Thankfully most trollers aren't that good at what they do, so it'll be fine.
