Potentially broken card, depending on the mechs available. If Replicating Menace is in core then this card is just completely nuts. Otherwise, it'll likely just be as good as Defias Cannoneer in that it'll fire once and then never again.
Still, a good start for a possible mech mage archetype. And crucial too, because if such stuff do not exist we're looking at yet another meta where mage plays nothing but spells, again.
This looks like Flamewaker 2.0. The only way this isn't insane is if you just don't have the ability to summon multiple mechs consistently or if there are no cheap mechs that are remotely playable.
If you have two of these, the maximum amount of damage you can do in one turn (not counting self-destruction) would be 33. I pray this doesn't end up as some degenerate OTK again
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Flamewaker but with mechs. This seems really strong! Mech mage is back. Mecha-Shark deals the 3 dmg whenever you SUMMON a mech. Which means that playing Gaia, the Techtonic probably will trigger the effect 3 times, for 12 dmg split among all enemies. And then you still have Gaias dmg waves. Of course you will need to keep Mecha-Shark alive which might be hard, but you have ways of generating new Mecha-Sharks. (Azsharan Sweeper, the new amalgam and Deeprun Engineer.) Mech mage is looking solid already.
And in wild... Mechwarper exists, so this might lead to some kind of combo.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Mech Mage Support! It realy looks like Mech mage will make a comeback to standard. This card seems pretty strong!

I guess they are trying to make Mech Mage an archetype. Often when they start printing support for an archetype, it takes another expansion or so for it to get fleshed out enough, but we'll have to see what the core set offers as well.
Well, this will be fun card, even more so in wild. I'm sure there will be a few mechs in the core set, so Mecha-Shark will definitely see play.

I would like mage to have a tempo deck, I'm so tired of all the RNG shenanigans.
It'll really need some cheap Mechs to go off fully, but I'm already seeing this as a better Goblin Blast Mage for Mech Mage decks. Could be really scary if Mage gets some cheap Mech summoners, effectively becoming the new Flamewaker.

This is the consecration of Mechs Mage return!! I see this as one of its core minion, on that your opponents needs to get rid of, before it secures you the win.

Given how cheap to play mechs are, and how many can be generated with the new cards, this card will be absolutely insane!
