Glorious Stealth Rogue
And Windfury potential too!
Is this strong or weak, I can't tell.
Generally speaking a minion that's automatically immune and comes with an attackbuff should be crazy, especially when it also has stealth. But then, when it comes out of Stealth it's just a 1/2 and will immediately be dealt with.
It's absolutely broken in Arena for sure, but in Constructed I'm not so sure.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
VERY strong aggro minion, and can be used defensively as well. This seems very strong, but also fair. It's strong on your turn, but very weak and easy to remove on your opponents turn after it loses stealth. After all on your opponents turn it's just a 1/2 minion. I like seeing strong but also fair and actually balanced cards like these. However considering it's a very fair and balanced card might be a bad thing, because that means it could be too fair. And if a card is too fair, then people will probably run something a lot stronger instead.
Still i think this will see play in some aggresive rogue decks for a bit.... Lets hope they don't Devolve burgle rogue into a tempo rogue that abuses gnolls again.... (I hated that deck so much as an actual burgle rogue player...)
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Its probably the strongest card rogue will be getting this miniset.
It value trades above its cost, presents a threat of 4 damage to face that cannot easily be dealt with, and has stealth - which means your opponent has to actively play around this until its either removed or de-stealthed.
The only problem is where to fit it. In weapon rogue, I suspect, would be the best home. Its negligible in mine rogue, and you'll never mulligan for this in thief rogue. Pirate rogue is the next best guess, but Im doubtful.
The immune mechanic is being overprinted in this game and is starting to annoy me. Why can't they just use Moonfang's text instead and make a keyword out of that? It seems more healthy for the game in the long run and would avoid future problems ( like the wretched tiller/ hysteria combo) much better.
