Honestly, I dont want to crap on legendaries so early, but this is trash. Even if it was printed back in 2016 it would still be teetering on the edge of being viable, that's how bad it looks right now.
For a start, being a deathrattle means it needs to first die for your dudes to get big and even after that without further help its only buffing one dude. And of course its perpetually at the mercy of silences, which means even if this card manages to reach tier 1, it can be countered easily.
And then there's the cost. This thing is slow, too slow. 3 mana for a chance to spawn a 4/4 in future, and only one 4/4 at a time after its dead. Even the shittiest aggro deck would end your life way before your 4/4 starts mattering.
The only way steward can get better is that we get something to duplicate its effect, or some crazy card that makes your deathrattles immune to silences. Or dude synergy is inherently so powerful that you'll play this card regardless of its powerlevel. Dude synergy hasn't worked since odd pally in the old baku/genn days, and I just dont see this card stopping that trend anytime soon.
I don't hate this in concept, because the idea of a passive buff that keeps replicating itself is pretty neat, but on paper your entire deck falls apart if you either don'T find Stewart or if the deathrattle gets silenced at any point.
Unless there'S some other big payoff for Dudes (unlikely because they usually don't print two legendaries for the same archetype) I don't see this working out.

Is this creature an owl with horns and wing-claws?
Also, the art looks like a close match to the one next (later today) in the reveal schedule.
Not sure this will be super powerful, since only one Silver Hand Recruit will get the buff at a time, and a single silence or transform will break the chain.
IT will be fun... I'll say that. i'm 900% sure that we will see an achievement based on how many times you can trigger the deathrattle.
After Dragonrider Talritha i'm not sure about this kind of effect. Luckely for Stewart the Steward he works with Dudes, so that might make him a bit better. But still i'm skeptical about this card.
In wild this might see play in ODD Paladin?
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Interesting Legendary to bring back the dudes for Paladin, which I whole-heartedly agree with seeing as it didn't take off in DMF. I'm not 100% certain on this cards functionality as I never owned Dragonrider Talritha. I'm assuming the deathrattle won't function if there's no dudes on board right?
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
The concept is cool and all, but it seems rather slow and small of a buff to consistently build a board ... not convinced.

The stewards are a race of small owl-like servants to the kyrians in Bastion, one of the four afterlife settings in WoW: Shadowlands.
Probably much better than Talritha, though I'm not sure if people will be convinced to stop running Hero!Cariel just yet.

Hope the dude wih the buff doesn't get silenced, bacause if you ran out of dudes just hero power it for getting the buff again. Aaaand I love the word game in his name
