Hi there,
Just came here from HearthPwn - RIP soon - and was wondering if we'd get some site achievements in here as well?
I mean, that is one of the many features that got me really hooked on HSpwn in 1st place.
Also, are we ever going to see the results of RoS community cards rating, compendiuum and all that jazz?

We will have site achievements. No timeline yet though. I do want them to be even better than the ones Pwn had.
No compendium stuff for Rise of Shadows, we don't have enough data here on Out of Cards and the HearthPwn stuff broke. We will, however, have a new compendium here on OOC and it'll be even better since we can do cool stuff with l33t programmingz0r.
Really though, it'll just be automatically generated in full and we can give people more in-depth stat snapshots of expansions.

Hey there Fluxx,
I noticed that we actually have an achievement count in our profile, but can we navigate an actual list or see what we earned so far or more generally speaking how does it work? From what I can tell, it is probably linked to the site different tab and menu, inviting us to explore the different functionalities available, but how do we know what to search for or what we already achieved? I apologize in advance if you were already planing on briefing the community about it in some upcoming post and I'm just too hasty ^^

Achievements are not fully implemented yet. The counter is there, but that is about it. Flux was testing some functionality. Wait a little bit longer ;-)

Achievements are "live" right now but we haven't made them accessible, the count was an error I didn't mean to show up on profiles. The goal was to have them out by the end of last week, along with notifications, but we're still adding in achievements and finishing up notifications.
They should go live this week though and we'll calculate a bunch of the achievements going backwards too. Your achievement points may reset from what they currently are as we make updates to the system and need to clear out everyone's earnings (temporarily). I cannot wait to get these out for everyone!
We also have a new navigation coming as well that works wonderfully on mobile.

Yup, that's going to be categorized as a Feat of Strength and as such won't reward any points, but it will give you a title reward =

Assuming you're talking about collections.
That's our next big thing we're going to get out. Don't have an ETA on it though it has been discussed a thousand times and we think we've got most of it figured out. Ideally we're ready with it before the next set comes out, but I'm not able to promise it just yet.

Are the titles going to be based on hearthstone cards again (just like most of them are in hearthpwn)? If so, may we have titles of some cards before they underwent a name change? I had Mistress of Pain back in the days and I would like to use it again.
None of the title rewards for post count are finalized yet, but I don't see why we couldn't throwback to some old names =)

I recently got the "Explorer's Kit" achievement. What is that?
Achievements are not officially out yet. You get the points and the notifications for them, but thats about it. I believe Flux is planning to reset them anyway once we have the full release.

As Sinti said, with the beginnings of notifications in place you might start receiving notifications for some of the achievements that have been implemented (but aren't properly visible yet). Think of it as a sneak preview of what's to come =P
When achievements are properly implemented, you'll be able to see them and view the descriptions for them (at least, the not-hidden ones).

New feature: Every achievement is hidden and the only way to keep track of them is by a handwritten log. Good luck!

[edit] Flux, I don't know if you are reading this, but is the "feats of strength" category implemented yet? You said in a thread that people, who were registered during the hearthstation era, would get an achievement as well.
It also seems like titles are live now! Or at last some of them.

Achievements are currently processing for those who created accounts during HearthStation, if you don't have your achievement yet, it'll arrive soon. It gives you the following rewards:
It is being given to everyone who created an account before April 10, 2019, the date after HearthStation closed, so if you registered after that, sorry guys =(
I do plan on having more limited time events on the site which will reward Feats of Strength (no achievement points). They're a great way to see who was around during what eras. It won't be just based on account date but rather participation in events... which...
There's an event coming up we're going to be rewarding people a special title and achievement, and it's going to be a bit of fun imo.

Good to hear. Btw I just completed some hidden achievements, but I noticed that their requirement is still hidden. I assume, that this is only temporary and in the future people would be able to read the text of obtained mistery achievements, right?
Yeah, there's a few things not being displayed on achievements atm that will be in the future.

Hi there, I'm having - what seems like - a bug with the achievement related to setting up my profile.
Is it possible that I have fulfill every conditions prior to the site achievement implementation? Or maybe I'm missing something.

The problem is that "Create an account" requirement is set incorrectly, so it does not trigger, thus Getting Started achievement cannot be completed atm. If you've done everything else, once this issue is resolved, you should get the achievement.

I'm trying to get the Honorary Explorer for quite some time and it does not seems to trigger it ...
I may be missing something - a step - or maybe the title achievement isn't obtainable anymore.
Could I ask for a clue?

Going to disappoint you, mate, but you can't get the achievement anymore. People could receive it, when the Uldum Essentials event took place.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to move all unobtainable achievements into a new category specific for them. Since you cannot get them anymore they only annoy you by not letting you have 100% in a category. And for the ones that will never be available again (as opposed to the ones that might be tied to an anual event) could you reveal their condition?

The achievements UI still needs some work - it was put on the backburner to prioritize other features.
Achievements that were limited-time and no longer obtainable will not display on profiles that have them incomplete after that gets fixed. Progression towards achievements with multiple criteria is also supposed to display.
