BlizzCon 2023 is just around the corner with a couple hours to go, and it's not officially fun until we have a bingo card!
We've created a bingo card that we'll update throughout BlizzCon's opening ceremony with what we hope, and what we expect to happen! Here's the bingo card, with explanations for meeting all the conditions further down:

Bingo Card Descriptions
Here's the conditions for each of the boxes to be ticked:
General:
- Chris Metzen, Ultimate Presenter, Returns - Chris Metzen is presenting on the BlizzCon stage.
- Microsoft Acquisition - The Microsoft acquisition is mentioned during the opening ceremony.
- Surprise Phil Spencer - Phil Spencer, Microsoft Acquisition Baron, shows up.
- Game Pass - Some Blizzard games are announced to be coming to Game Pass.
- Bobby Kotick?! - Bobby Kotick appears.
- Game Gets TV Adaptation - One or more of Blizzard's games is getting a TV show.
- Namedrop Blizzard Collection - The presenter kindly reminds the audience they still have time to pay for the Blizzard Collection.
- Technical Difficulties - Something goes wrong behind the scenes.
- Gamer Moment - They play a video of gamers saying how much they love Blizzard's games.
- Expectations Subverted - Something totally unexpected is announced.
- New Skin Showcase - Some new skin is focused on intently.
World of Warcraft:
- It was Dwarves after all - The new WoW expansion is dwarf-centric.
- CGI Odyn - The flame-bearded man gets the CGI makeover in the WoW expansion trailer.
- WoW Redecorates - WoW refurbishes some old zones.
- WoW Classic: Cataclysm - Classic servers for the Cataclysm expansion are announced.
- WoW Classic: Vanilla+ - Classic servers with content not found on retail are announced.
- Sword of Sargeras - What sword?
Diablo:
- Diablo: Immortal - Literally any mention of Diablo: Immortal will count for this.
- Diablo IV, Season 3, Already - Diablo IV's Season 3 is talked about even though it's barely been two weeks since season 2 launched.
- Diablo IV CGI - Diablo IV gets a CGI trailer.
Overwatch:
- Overwatch 2 PvE Content - Overwatch 2 gets PvE content in some form.
- New Hero: Mauga - Overwatch 2's new hero is Mauga, just as Suchti0352 predicted.
Other Games:
- New Hearthstone Game Mode - Hearthstone debuts a new game mode.
- Warcraft Rumble Launches Again - Warcraft Rumble launches "live", even though the game has been available on mobile stores since yesterday.
- No Starcraft II - No new content for Starcraft II.
Hearthstone's expansion has already been announced, and a lot of new information on the game will be presented in a developer panel a few hours after the opening ceremony.

That bingo row was a coward's bet.
Sword was pretty much confirmed before the ceremony because there was a mini statue of "what sword" meme.
No starcraft 2 is obvious, it's more dead than hots.
Blizzard collection - seriously? Of course they'll promote the shit out of their product specifically tied to this event.
Mauga was heavily hinted before the event, it just needed to be said.
And of course the center piece, expectations subverted, the most subjective thing that you can always check and find the audience that will agree. Wow has me super hyped, so expectations are fully met.
Let's unpack this for a moment, knowing that the bingo card's conditionals were thought up before any mention of the sword of Sargeras being at the convention surfaced!
SC2 is there because there was a chance for it to receive something - either an announcement that's coming to game pass, or news about that whole Starcraft AI thing they talked about a looooong time ago then never mentioned.
BlizzCon Collection - well sure, they can't all be 1% chance cards, right?
Mauga was there due to the comment from the linked article! Overwatch 2, for just releasing this year, seemed to lack a lot of possible predictions. It only has 2 squares on the bingo card. The less non-WoW things on the bingo card, the more this card would basically be a "WoW Bingo Card", not a "BlizzCon Bingo Card".
The center box, expectations subverted, is there for a good reason. Bingo cards always give the center space for free. Expectations Subverted was as close a condition you could get to being free, without being truly free. The condition was met when they announced not one, but three expansions.
Alright, that opening ceremony CRUSHED the bingo card.
It's insane when you consider half of these X's weren't 'easy' wins either!
