Good stats for a 2-drop and if it survives it basically draws and plays a card from your deck for free. Preeetty good.

Feels like a completely reasonable card. Slates into Secret Highlander Hunter on day 1.

Good for Secret Highlander Hunter or Wild Even Hunter. Only thing that give me pause in Standard is you can't play until turn 4 to get a single free Secret - that's a little late for a 2/3 minion if your opponent has any kind of board already.

Finally I can play decent beast secret decks! together with subject-9, this was this missing piece for the deck. And we are still waiting on more reveals.

I reiterate what i said for Dragonbane: Even Hunter says hi.

(And i Secretly hope Wild Even Hunter can be at least as fast as Secret Mage and pay them with their own money).

As I noted in our initial card review, I can see this in a Wild Even Hunter alongside Genn Greymane. Secrets are Even-costed, so the combination with them and Steamwheedle Sniper seems obvious to me.

An amazing card for Wild even hunters, and even if you are just playing normal hunter, chances are you will be playing secrets. This doesn't have bad stats, and being able to get a free secret is both great tempo and value. This can be played on turn 2, then hero power on the following turn, or on turn 4 combined with hero power. Remember, hunter secrets are worth 2 mana, so spending 2 mana to get a random secret isn't bad. Especially when you also deal 2 damage and don't have to spend a card on it.

Good stats for its mana cost and more than decent battlecry, thinning your deck while putting a Secret on board.

I do like this a lot. It has some serious potential with some version of secret hunter. Totally unclear what the best build would be for a secret hunter, but whatever it is, this is in it.

I know that mage secrets are stronger, but thanks to Arcanologist, Kirin Tor Mage, Kabal Lackey, Mad Scientist and others, I think this card definitely shouldn´t be underestimated. Could be potentially very strong.

Make your hero power "draw" a card for hunter? Sounds insane to me.

Yeah, as if hunter needs more secret pulls.

What do they want really ? Build a deck with 16 secret and 14 secret puller ?

I mean; ok, card is good, even better, crocolisk stats with card pull but secret hunter has been tried, saw ladder also. We are always turning back and back again.

Whether or not a meme, I'm definitely making a secret even hunter in wild day one. This or steamwheedle sniper on 3 just seems fun.

Coining this out and Hero Power on 2 might look good, but it's not really. But later on it could be strong combined with Dwarven Sharpshooter. Even in dedicated Secret decks this might not even see play :/

Even in non-even hunter (heh), for 4 mana you get a 2/3, deal 2 dmg to the face, draw a secret from your deck and immediately play it. Secret hunter is already a good deck, this will be a staple.

It seems like it should be meta-defining, but it's not quite. Highlander Hunter already runs 6 secrets, and it's hard to imagine running much more than that. It's a fantastic card that should have a place in that deck, but having reached legend with it when it was new to the meta, I think a big skill-test with that deck is when and how to play each secret. I'm not sure if cheating them out randomly actually helps despite the card draw. I think it fits better in a mid-range secret deck that maybe runs 2-4 different secrets, but multiple copies of some of them.

Yeah, I don't think it's meta-defining. In theory it should replace Masked Contender in a Highlander Hunter deck. It's got stats for its mana cost and it's a beast. You'll need to play it on turn 4 to get immediate value out of it though, but tempoing it out at 2 mana should still be a solid play.

Free secrets are interesting, but there will be times when this is just a 2 mana 2/3. I mean its a beast and its got fine stats, so its probably fine.

    This seems like a Must-Remove-Card.

Masked Contender is already a good card, and it only pulls 1 Secret.

This is a prime case of "too much". Standard Hunter doesn't really need this on account of Subject 9 and Masked Challenger being a thing.

This was specifically designed for Even Hunter (who likes to run Secrets and doesn't like not being able to run Subject 9), but I guess they didn't want to redo it after rotating Genn and Baku

I probably wouldn't put this into current Highlander Hunter on account of being redundant (and the fact that you usually don't want to spend mana on HP unless you have to)

This could, however, help out Hunter decks that like to run some Secrets, but not enough to warrant Subject 9 (for example Snake Trap in Quest Hunter, add in a Rat Trap or Freezing and you'Ve got yourself a package that may or may not be worth it)

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

maybe highlander or wild secret hunter, but outside of that I'm not sure how good it is.

    Maybe even hunter, too

I’m not really a fan of it just because secrets can get pretty annoying, but it’ll probably see some play. At worst it just ends up being a 2 mana 2/3 beast, not much downside there

Who needs consistency when you could have fun?

Cost & stat wise it is a good card, free secret from deck is just a bonus. This will def be used in all hunter decks that plays ANY secrets.

This card is great and quite flexible. It supports secret hunter, it can help the new hero power archetype that they are pushing and it also has some beast synergie. The stats are great for a 2 drop and in all scenarios, it thins out your deck (if you are running secrets of course).

Vanilla statted Beast with a synergistic bonus effect that requires 2 Mana to activate? Well, the effect is strong, but I don't know how clunky it'll be to play. Drop it on Turn 2 and it might survive; if so, you'd also need to do something with 1 Mana on Turn 3. A 2/3 on Turn 4 isn't impressive, but the tempo would be nice. I don't think we'll see much of it, unless Secret Hunter is really strong otherwise.

Definitely a solid card stat wise, effect wise for Secret Hunter or Highlander Hunter. Also a card to fish out those secrets you never draw, and will force opponents to prioritize removing it.

What, this is just too good.

Hero power is basically draw a random secret, and like everyone said, it thins your deck too at the same time.

I would overestimate this card, great stand alone card. You just need some secrets in your deck, then slap this card into your deck that needs support for secrets, and you're ready to go. This card can't be trash if anyone have said it.

Now this one does look good, just the body and the free 2 damage (remember Hero Power costs 2 same as a secret so hero powering is like playing secret) seems enough for being reasonabely good in Secret Hunter

I think right now this card just will not see play in a Secret Hunter list. However, after rotation of cards like Masked Contender and Subject 9 then this card will see play.

I like this card a lot.

You can play it on turn 2 and if opponent plays a removal it's ok. If it survives can be disgusting putting secrets out of your deck is very strong, it synergies with all the other hunter cards that are revealed so far; if you have this and the 1/3 your hero power becomes one of the strongest thing you can do for 2 mana.

If you play this on turn 4 you can already have some value out of it.

In wild will be fun to play with this card with Genn ( i'm starting to wonder if those cards where created with the idea of still having Genn/Baku in standard)

A very strong 2 drop. I'm sure we'll see it on ladder in agressive secret hunter or even in highlander decks. I believe Phase Stalker should trigger Secretkeeper's ability so it can be very useful.

Casting a Secret from deck for 2 mana is good, but Secret Hunter has already Subject 9, which is in my opinion stronger than this card.

Good effect and decent stats. It is a good addition to any hunter decks that run secrets, although it will not become a core card given how powerful the hunter secret package already is.

Well-statted 2-drop, Beast tag, effectively draws cards for you. Only issue is what kind of deck will be happy to play this card and then spend time and mana using the Hero Power often enough to get value out of it? Perhaps the Even Hunter concept I mentioned above? Not sure about Standard though.

Similar to Arcanologist, but it's a Beast, the Battlecry costs another 2 mana, plays the secret, and can be triggered multiple times if it survives. So better? And that card was played a lot. Thinning the deck of those weak topdecks is powerful.

Probably won't see play outside of Even Hunter. I could be wrong though, it does indeed appear similar to Arcanologist.

My first thought was this is batshit crazy, just imagine - for two mana in every turn you deal two damage to your opponent, cast a secret and thin your deck. Also 2/3 for two mana is great deal. But there is little chance that it survives a turn and to trigger effect immediately after play you need to spent four mana, which is not that great. Anyway, still believing this will see some meta play :-)

    Fun and interactive game.

Is there any explanation why they stepped away from using the (already existing) Inspire-Keyword?

Interesting mechanic, but still I think that Mad Scientist is better.

Beast tag, +1 health and can cast more than 1 secret.

I think that card os better than Mad Scientist.

Inspire is a TGT keyword and Blizzard will not use it on other expansions. They said that this will help new players because a lot of keywords can be annoying.

The same for Recruit, Echo and other kws.
