Bleh! Even worse than meh.
I'm guessing there will be some experimentation with this card, but ultimately it will not see play.
so it can't be charge minions? only rush? so no unleash on turn 3 and extra 4/4 gryphon?
This cards realest upside is that it can simply be splashable in Highlander Hunter, which already runs a decent number of rush minions. Add in cards like Diving Gryphon, Highlander Hunter will keep being pretty strong.
3 rush minion is not much and it summon not play so you get 4 mana minion almost for free
I am of the opinion that it is one of the best sidequests. The new rush beast with dire frenzy easily activates this

An option for quest hunter, (springpaw, hallazi,swarm of locusts etc.) and like someone said in the comments: hunting mastiff.
So in an earlier turn play the quest and maybe a spring paw so you can complete it turn four: when it will have much more impact. or even turn three with two springpaws (probably inconsistent)
Don't know if this is worth a slot in a deck... It's not even this good when casted by Zul'jin...
Pretty easy to complete... not sure if it makes the cut for highlander but quest hunter would be fun
In the early game can be a good card (if can be completed fast enough), but this is the tipical card that you don't want draw in late game.
Hunter can complete the quest easly, but this isn't the best card of the set for sure.
I don´t thin the lynx and the spear are anough for this sidequest to be consistent. Mage´s sidequest is something a control mage will acheive every game, given time. This has the same topdeck problem AND is much harder to complete.
Wondering if it will work with Houndmaster Shaw, not really seeing a combo with this an Shaw, but just wondering if it will trigger it.
An okay card to get some additional pressure in when playing rush minions like Springpaw. Getting it running early can help snowball the game with cards like Scavenging Hyena. Otherwise, drawing it late is extremely bad. Wild just no

Seems so bad as a top-deck but if quest hunter is viable, this card will be in there
This might just be what Quest Hunter needed, more early tempo without sacrificing anything. Can easily work in Midrange as well. 4/10
I got really excited to dust off Halazzi, the Lynx and then I remembered that Desert Spear exists too. This card is going to cause fits. I'm a believer.
Might be decent in Standard. As for Wild, I think not.
