How many golden legendaries have you opened?

Hey all, I just wanted to ask how many golden legendaries have you got from packs in the whole time you've played the game. I personally started playing in 2016 when Old Gods came out and since, I've opened only ONE golden legendary - Lilian Voss. My friend, who's played for the same amount of time as me and we open roughly the same amount of packs, has already opened between five to ten golden legendaries (I can't remember exactly how many). What are your numbers? Is he really lucky or am I really unlucky? Where's the truth? Post below!

Opening 5 golden legendary cards is not luck its a shit load of packs.

Hi, i've been playing hearthstone since KoFT, and I opened 3 golden legendaries (A Millhouse that I disenchanted, a Meca'thun, and a Elysiana that i recently disenchanted too.)

I think the average is getting a golden legendary for each 10-15 regular ones. So you're probably unlucky and your friend is lucky.

Okay, Ive just checked - Ive opened 12 golden legendaries (playing from season 1). Not including crafted or from bundles/free ones. I dont know the odds so I guess Im lucky then?

Playing since beta as a semi-f2p and I have opened 4 golden legendaries: Illidan Stormrage, Nozdormu, Lord Jaraxxus and Zerek's Cloning Gallery. All of them are pretty bad so easy 1600 dust each :)

6 golden legendaries and I've been playing since Un'goro! Two classic (Hogger and Millhouse Manastorm, two years of distance), one from KotFT (found one week before Hogger, Prince Valanar) and three from ROS (Heistbaron Togwaggle, Keeper Stalladris and Oblivitron). Yes, a lot of luck with ROS for only opening 100 packs (f2p!). All of them still with me :)
It's only luck, nothing else, there is the pity timer but, with the exception of the classic set, you will never reach it

I've been playing since mid-KoFT, and I've only opened two golden legendaries: Duskfallen Aviana (dusted immediately) and Harrison Jones. 

As for the golden ones I got from pre-orders, I have Zerek's Cloning Gallery and Barista Lynchen. 

I've been playing since open beta (except for a few months during GvG when I was bored of the meta) and the golden legendaries I got from packs are:

• Malorne
• Swamp King Dred
• Zul'jin
• Temporus
• Al'Akir the Windlord
• Lord Jaraxxus
• The Voraxx
• Ysera

I've been thinking about disenchanting Temporus and The Voraxx, but I still have some unfounded hope that they'll be useful in a deck some day.

So 8 golden legendaries from packs in 5 years. I put some money into Hearthstone, but not a lot: typically one pre-order or two smaller bundles a year. I do try to get all the freebies I can, by playing every tavern brawl, completing the vast majority of my daily quests and leaving open unfinished arena runs when it rotates.

I think you and I are both unlucky. I’ve opened one golden legendary, and I’ve played since GvG. According to the source below, on average you should get a golden for approximately 1 out of 10 legendaries you open, unless I am reading it incorrectly

my first one was a golden Edwin VanCleef, I mulled it over for about an hour and DUSTED him, I have never looked back once.

I have also opened Herald Volazj, High Priestess Jeklik, [Hearthstone Card (Lyra, the Sunshard) Not Found], Splintergraft (which I later opened as normal), and I crafted a Whizbang the Wonderful in gold. 

all of these cards are now DUSTED. and I don't regret it.

From 02/2015, I still own them:

Hogger, Nozdormu, Baron Geddon, Captain Greenskin, King Mukla, Pyros, Kalimos, Primal Lord, Lord Godfrey, Crystalsmith Kangor, Floop's Glorious Gloop, Gonk, the Raptor, High Priestess Jeklik.

I started playing in 2015 (during TGT I believe). The golden legendaries I have opened are:

Classic: Onyxia, was probably among the 15th-18th legendary I opened in my classic packs.

TGT: Gormok the Impaler, was the 4th or 5th legendary I opened in that expansion.

Gadgetzan: Don Han'Cho, was the 8th legendary I opened in that expansion.

Un'goro: Pyros, was the first legendary I opened in that expansion.

The Witchwood: Lady in White, Duskfallen Aviana, Emeriss (As you can probably tell, The Witchwood was my best expansion ever in terms of pack quality), I think I opened a total of 11 legendaries in that expansion.

Rastakhan's Rumble: Princess Talanji, I think it was the 4th legendary I opened in that expansion.

I haven't disenchanted any of them (yes, not even Duskfallen Aviana :p)

Golden Jaraxxus is the only golden legendary I've ever unpacked in my years of playing, albeit I've only recently put any money into the game for the newest adventure. Honestly, I was delighted when I unpacked it because it was literally the only legendary I wanted at the time; getting it in gold was even better!

I've been playing since it started, originally as F2P.  But I also stopped between GvG and Un'Goro.  Since restarting with Un'Goro though, I think I have opened maybe 8 or 9 total

Golden Ysera, Golden Don Han'Cho and Golden Hex Lord Malacrass.

 I dusted a Golden Lord Jaraxxus before realising the folly of my ways. I know now how foolish I have been and have been seeking repentance for 3 years. I'm sorry..... 😬

Edit: I've been on a bit of a pack opening binge recently and can now add Scargil and Prince Taldaram to my list. Noice... 

I've been playing since old gods and it's been 7 golden legendaries from packs so far. It sounds like you're really unlucky. Then again getting a golden Flark's Boomzooka, Wilfred Fizzlebang or Icehowl isn't exactly the epitome of luck either, but I'm not bitter at all.

about 7 in total I think. I got 3 of them in the space of about 10 packs last month though. was nuts. 2 were from the same set in the space of about 3 packs as well. 

I feel so unlucky compared to everyone in the thread wtf. How have I only opened 1 Golden Legendary and I have been playing since release? It was a White Eyes during Mean Streets. I did take a break Around the time The Frozen Throne Expansion came out and came back with Rakastans Rumble. But I would think I should have got way more Golden  Legendary cards.

I started playing at launch and have opened two, one being my first ever legendary (Hogger and the second was Cenarius).

Back in the early days of HS, I disenchanted my Hogger to make Ragnaros, won a lot of games simply with Rag back then. :)

just created this account so Kronos knows he's not alone. I started to play the game in the closed beta. I'm only f2p. Since then I had some longer breaks, f.e. I didn't play during 2018 at all. The only golden legendary I ever got was Eadric the Pure . Dusted him after TGT rotated to wild. Maybe I should start to feel unlucky and complain about rng but I really don't care. Maybe it's because im f2p. Just take what you get and be happy about it.

Been playing since GvG. Have bought KnC, Witchwood, Boomsday and the latest expansion's prepurchase packs. Not counting the preorder golden legendaries i have opened golden Frost Lich Jaina, N'Zoth (dusted R.I.P) and Kalecgos. My preorder ones were Vereesa Windrunner, Stargazer Luna and War Master Voone. Other than that i used to have a golden Sylvanas and Ragnaros due to them being HoF'ed (both dusted R.I.P). 

So i have opened a total of 3 legendaries.

I'm almost an F2P player and I've been playing since closed beta. Only bought 7 TGT packs in 2015, the last 3 wings of One Night in Karazhan, as well as Medivh and Magni alternate heroes. That's it. Opened 11 golden legendaries in total (main acc: 8, smurf acc: 3) since beta.

Chronological order:
1. The Beast (disenchanted after a few games and crafted Malygos during open beta)
2. Wilfred Fizzlebang (disenchanted right away)
3. Confessor Paletress (still got it)
4. King Mukla (disenchanted right away; for Mal'Ganis during TGT era)
5. Bloodreaver Gul'dan (still got it)
6. King Togwaggle (got this one in the opening day, disenchanted right away; weeks later I pulled a normal one)
7. Azalina Soulthief (still got it)
8. Illidan Stormrage (disenchanted right away; this was my first legendary after completing all the classic legendaries)

Smurf account:
1. Rhok'delar (disenchanted after the last set rotation)
2. Rin, the First Disciple (disenchanted after the last set rotation)

Only got a golden Nat Pagle 2 months ago.

19 Golden Legendaries from late 2014 but I bought a lot of packs too with money. 

Ok looking back through collection now...i've got 21 golden legendaries. As far as how many I've actually opened? I've only crafted two, Sylvanus and Rag cuz of nerfs. I did disenchant Deathwing golden (forever regret!), and I've gotten a golden legendary from promotions/bundles each time they've been available, which is only what, twice or thrice now? Been playing since a couple months after beta, and I buy some packs each time an expansion comes out :)

For longest time I had never opened any but recently I opened King Krush; Gral, the Shark; and Khadgar in golden in pretty quick succession

Playing since KoTF and I've never opened a golden legendary 

At least 10 which isn't bad for f2p player BUT this is across NA, EU and Asia.

3 of these I dusted (pally quest, Fjola Lightbane, Noggenfogger).

Playing since Kobolds and I still have not opened any golden legendaries. I'm semi-f2p and bought in total about 120 packs from different promotions. But I had two pack openings where I had 2 legendaries in each which makes up for that. I actually prefer this over having a golden legendary.

I own almost every hunter legendary golden since KnC. And hunter is my least played class.

I'm playing since closed beta test and i only opened 1 golden legendary. I must be the most unlucky guy lol

Playing since Grand Tournament (or just before, I don't remember exactly), and I have only opened 1 golden legendary, Dr. Boom, Mad Genius. I have barely played it, I don't play warrior.

I play since about 3 years and prr-ordered 3 expansions so far. I gave up on getting one haha

A single Baku the Mooneater. I dusted it, because i wasn't interested in odd decks(And i was disgusted by the odd pala back then). Used the dust to finish my even warlock.

Want to say 5-6 since I started playing.

I tend to open a golden paladin legendary per expansion - which makes me incredibly lucky - but I also tend to get the ones that don't see much play ... The Darkness, Lynessa Sunsorrow, Bolvar Fordragon, Prince Liam, to only list a few. My very 1st one was Nat Pagle and I have since then lost track since my dragon affliction for shiny makes me a collector of them. I'd say I almost got one per expansion since TGT ^^
