Legends of Runeterra - When is Beta Gonna Be Here?

One Reddit user, MysteryMTR, commented on how slow Riot has been with any information about the dates for closed beta for LoR and a couple of Devs popped up to comment. They don't give us anything definite, but at least we know they're working hard on getting it ready as soon as possible! [source]

Underlying everything we communicate is the principle that we don't want to promise anything that we won't be able to deliver on. I think we've all experienced that as players, and Riot also has had to learn that lesson as developers.

As we're finishing our core game features for Launch, we also have to develop the capabilities to release those at quality, at scale, reliably and consistently. As more of the game is complete, we'll be able to more confidently predict when we'll have releases ready for players. But until then we're mostly just comfortable with the types of broad strokes that you've seen in our roadmap.

Exact dates WILL come, but we're not quite ready to announce anything yet.

I am fine with waiting.. they have enough pressure as is.. let them work.. they have a great game on their hands hope for a more polished beta launch.

I miss the game and I would like to play it but I understand their side too.. they are devs after all.. compared to blizzard we won't be disappointed for sure.

Absolutely! I'm ready to dive back in and make it my main focus.
