Blizzard has disabled the Road to Northrend brawl that was supposed to take place this week. It has been replaced with Pick a Hand, any Hand.
- We'll see the Road to Northrend brawl return next week.
- Some players encountered client crashes with the brawl, preventing completion.
- Issues with Tavern Brawls seem to be more common in recent times. See Brawliseum getting replaced.

I'm just glad I ran through this one in time and that there was at least enough time to do it this time...
So if I completed the brawl before it got pulled, can I get another pack from the replacement? That would definitely be cool.
Well, answering my own question... No. You won't get another pack for completing the replacement brawl. Oh well, sounded good in my head. Lol.
Last time this happened we couldn't play the new brawl, but at the end of the week we got free 300g because it's like "hey, if you had played brawl, you would probably get some gold there, so here is a compensation to you!". So don't worry, this will be good!
The only problem I noticed was any Aviator Bob encounters on Mobile/Tablet would crash right away. But they worked fine on PC.
Yeah - that's literally the problem.
Mine would win after visiting aviator bob from losing to finley and not show any tavern visits (mobile)
It worked for me ok.

A little distressing to see that tavern brawls have been repeatably plagued with problems for the past few months. Hope this gets resolved in future before it gets really heated for the community
I suppose that is why they had 2 day break before... It lets them test it properly int 2 days on insider accounts
They should be able to schedule any brawl they want at any time on internal test servers; no need to do that on the production servers.
My guess is that issue is with the client rather than the brawl itself, but the brawls uncover bugs that don't occur during normal play. Weird things have been happening ever since they upgraded Unity, such as purple keywords in the collection viewer.
Theoretically yes... practially in Real server it works just differently than on test server... sometimes just sheer amount of load on real server is what matters..
I agree. Though I also wonder what internal changes/pressures are at work to cause such a drop in quality control which was usually pretty good (people mostly only notice when things don't work not when they do).
Those of us that work or worked for companies in IT related development roles likely understand it might not even be the fault of the technical staff involved if the higher ups don't give them enough staff or time to do the job properly.
Hopefully cautionary bells are sounding in the ears of someone who can do something about it.
