I don't know about you, but I think the UI is the part of Runeterra that needs the most work. Let's make a list of changes we'd like to see!

Throughout

  • More decorative buttons would be nice; existing ones are very boxy and bland.
  • Shards and Wildcards should be visible on all screens except during actual play.

Home screen

  • Shouldn't Quests and Vault be under Rewards?
  • Maybe instead fill this space with personalized stats of some kind, or just bigger versions of the sidebar menu buttons.
  • Or possibly some media links to instructional videos, articles, popular deck lists?

Rewards screen

  • As mentioned above, Quests and Vault should be here, with PvP Bonus in one corner.
  • Upper right -- Percent complete is redundant with the level info already given in upper left. Instead, how about XP needed for next level?
  • Hovering over progress bar at the bottom should show Current/Needed XP to level up.
  • Clicking question mark under available reward should still give info, not open the reward as it currently does.

Play screen

  • Option for a more compact deck list would be nice.

Collection screen

  • I don't know why, but I feel like this should be listed before Play.
  • Option for a more compact deck list would be nice.
  • Loadouts should be saved per deck.
  • Enable right-click Paste when importing a deck.
  • Player should be able to set the art for each deck image. (Right now, it seems to default to the most powerful Champion in the deck.)
  • Player should be able to set a default "favorite" board and guardian for when none is selected.
  • There should be a Random option for all loadout components.
  • Maybe also a "favorite" checkbox to control which components may appear when Random is selected.

Ideas you posted that I really like:

    1.  "Player should be able to set the art for each deck image. (Right now, it seems to default to the most powerful Champion in the deck.)"

    2.  "Option for a more compact deck list would be nice."  I find it quite annoying that I can't see my entire decklist without scrolling.

    3.  I also agree you should be able to see the XP needed to lvl up without having to go to the "Change Region" menu

Some nice ideas in your post. I feel the UI is, in most respects, perfectly serviceable, so I don't see these as too big of a priority. The biggest one to me would probably be the ability to select an image for each deck. I also wish we could right-click cards in the rewards-opening screen.

I agree with everything everyone has said.

The one thing no one's mentioned: showing how many shards & wildcards you own in all the HUDs, not just the Store.  Or at least in the deckbuilding / card viewing screens.  I saw a mockup of this somewhere--I think reddit?--and it looked really slick, but I searched for it just now and couldn't find it.

Definitely. Adding it to the list!

    • Enable right-click Paste when importing a deck.

Even better, it could autodetect when you have a deck string and automatically paste it

I just thought of another one that's been mentioned in a different thread a while ago: It's extremely fiddly to view revealed cards in your opponent's hand, especially if there are several. You can mouse over and view one of the cards, but moving your mouse left or right to switch over to the next card simply doesn't work in my experience. You have to remove the mouse cursor from the area, then approach the card you want to see by going upwards.

Agree with basically everything in the OP. Would also add that I'd like for Play mode to remember whether I last played Ranked or Casual when clicking it rather than defaulting to Casual every time, because I can see myself accidentally queueing Casual and spending an hour being very pleased with myself before realising my error (this has happened on HS ¬.¬).

When making a deck, number of card copies displayed is inconsistent - if you have one or two copies it'll show the number you have (or the number you have left), while if you have three copies it won't display a number at all. I realise that's because if you have three copies you have functionally infinite copies (since you can only run three), but it's inconsistent to not display the number (and can make it slightly more difficult to tell how many of a given card you have in the deck at a glance).

I see you when you're sleeping; I'm gone before you wake

I'm not as good as turn 4 Barnes; But I'm at least a Twilight Drake
