That's basically the missing piece for consitency that Big Demon Demon hunter needed.
now even the 6-drop that summons demons gets better because you can generate some outs (and there aren't a lot of terrible neutral demons)
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Good turn 2 card, and works really well with demon hunter. Kinda like demon hunters Frightened Flunky. Looks like this might see quite some play. Also this says any demon, so probably other class demons as well.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
Unless they specify 'from any class' it will only be neutral or Demon Hunter.
This card is interesting, but still a lot worse than Frightened Flunky imho due to the lack of taunt. It is probably still good enough to see play in big DH. Also a solid arena card.
With all those new demons, I almost feeling bad for complaining during Year of the Dragon about too few of them.

Not a bad card, but I'd say this is the weakest of all DH's 2 drops.
Wait isn't the demon hunter weakness is value generation?
Great 2-drop. And it's not a demon itself, so you can't just chain them (like we've all seen with Stonehill Defender and Frightened Flunky).

Nice one. I guess they want to make a really big entrance for the new class. I just hope they don't over-do it and ppl start to either hate DH in their guts or play DH themselves.

Doesn't this kind of go against DH's "class identity"? Will see play just because it's a value generator tool which DH is supposed to be lacking in.
low cost for decent stat and FREE CARD is what makes this an auto include. nuff said
A nice bit of value, but bad tempo for a class that REALLY loves tempo. Will see play in slower Demon Hunter decks, but I don't see those becoming as popular as fast tempo decks.

I agree with your assessment: it will definitely see play outside of Aggro decks.
It's not bad, a 2 mana 2/2 that gives you a card is fine. I am just not sure it is good enough to warrant a spot in your deck. If nothing else it is good for new players.

Stats are okay, but I always love an early game card that also helps fill your hand back up.

2 mana discover-ers have been done many times before, and are a staple of midrange archetypes. This will see play and midrange demon hunter early game will continue to feel exactly the same as the early game of every other midrange deck.

good turn 2 card - great bonus from it - if you roll a low minion - you will overcome the board quickly
Well pretty basic card, this will be a staple in every budget DH deck.
It's a solid 2 drop - Shaman's 2 drop that added another elemental saw plenty of play when Elementals were strong, and even if BIG DEMON DEMON HUNTER isn't a thing card generation is always viable. Will see play

Yes. YESSSSSSSS!!! This card is so good. It is like the 2/2 that has taunt and discovers a taunt. I LOVE cards like this.
Seems amazing for the time being, since there’s so few cards to pull from. Probably gonna be weaker in the future, but for now it’s really good

Very useful when used with Fel Summoner to cheat out some big threats.
Pretty much the only card generation tool on DH. And as far as card generation goes, it's pretty mediocre. 2 mana 2/2s are these days.
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

This is the type of card that early in the year of the phoenix will be abused, due to a low pool od demons, so that you can almost always hit the good ones, but as the year goes on, people will just put the demons they want in the control deck, cut the middle man.
Fine card, good for zoo DH. Not sure if it will fit in any deck tho.
