Runeterra took over 2 hours to update

As the title says, it took over two hours for Runeterra to update on my PC. I eventually gave up and downloaded it on my phone and it took less than five minutes. Has anyone else had this problem?

Also, my computer is not terrible, it was able to download and play hearthstone in a few minutes
There could have been a problem with the update, it was launch day after all, have you tried doing that again since?

Mine was over in like ~5 minutes--longer than normal, but not nearly as long as yours.
Have you tried restarting your PC, or perhaps right-click -> Run As Administrator? My guess is that there's a single task that the installer is hanging on, and they didn't make it robust enough to time out properly.
Took about 3-5 minutes for me to install the update, maybe reinstall if you are continuing to have issues.
Same here... maybe 5 mins. BUT I did have issues with it not recording it when I KNOW I completed two quests.
It did the same thing when open beta started then went away. SO I assume there are simply just some kinks to work out.
I started it again just now and it only took a minute! It was probably just some weird issue with my computer, it also took all night to install Runeterra so I probably have a problem with my pc. Thanks for the responses and help, I’m glad it’s not an issue for everyone!
