Bug: Minion being ignored during battle phase
I was in a game with a beast build, and I lost while still having a minion on board.
Had that minion been attacked or attacked, I would have survived. Instead, I took lethal damage and lost, with a minion still alive and well.
Wtf? Has anyone else had this issue?

I remember seeing a vod of this happening, think it was Kibler. He played a minion at the last second, it never attacked and then he died with it still on the board, like it wasn't there.
My theory is that the flow for the "Too late, your turn is over" messaging has an issue where if your game is ending it won't execute properly on the client. (I.e. your minion really got returned to your hand, but the client didn't get sent the error notification)
Was your ignored minion one you played near the end of the turn?
