As for at least half (a few I don't know) of the Magic clues this is a Kaldheim card. The troll angle is based on the art and is pretty obscure. But the part about what happens when you stay out in the cold too long is a solid hint, if the spelling is a little off.

So the event is up now? I kept collecting snowflakes all winter, but there seem not to be the option to buy the snowballs in the shop yet. There is even the daily task to Throw a Snowball and I can see a target sign next to each members name, but there is no option to buy one. Am I missing something?

Snowballs should have been available a long time ago. Shit. I fixed the issue, our new shop needed something else selected vs how it was done last year. Sorry about that!
And while we are fixing things, maybe reset the snowball counts. I mean, I don't mind starting out with a 444 snowball head start, but doesn't seem right for someone just joining this year.
Edit: Maybe we can have a lifetime achievement top 10 and the current year leaderboard.
And while I am on a roll whining about stuff, it would be nice to have a link to Snowpocalypse on the site menu like last year before the link to this year's event drops off the front page.

Yeah, some of this seems a bit in-progress. I just threw a snowball that I didn't have at you, got the error, but also credit as having thrown a snowball for the daily.
You´re right, throwing non-existent snowball seems to work at least for the daily task. Let´s see what Flux or the team got to say on that.
I was wondering when something about this would show up. Have the daily tasks been going on the whole time? Is there going to be a link in the header so we can come back to this easily if, for example, we don't finish all the clues before this gets pushed off the front page?
Daily tasks are new, nav item will appear in the next site deploy for ease of access =)
Thanks to Demon for organizing our treasure hunt and for the others who helped put clues together (I'm afraid I might forget to list someone so I won't list them all).
Going to add some new stuff to the shop to spend snowflakes on - sorry if some of it is a bit more Christmassy-themed.
