Nerf Secret Passage and Self Sharpening Sword

    1 mana draw 4 should not be a thing when there are classes that struggle with card draw

    There is a reason pot of greed (but what does it do?) a draw 2 card in Yu Gi Oh is banned. A 1 mana draw 4 is just terrible design especially in a aggro focused class. 

    Self Sharpening Sword can do over 30+ total damage occasionally and most of the time it does near 30 damage you can't do anything to out tempo that unless your deck just counters it

    If face controls board for the entire game me still win game: That's the epitome of Weapons Rogue.

    I don't care too much if these cards aren't nerfed they are just cards I would nerf.

    I have always felt Secret Passage should work more like Plot Twist, pseudo-drawing the same number of cards as you already have in hand. That way it is strongest when you least need it, balancing it out somewhat.

    Even so, I do find it facetious when people call it "1 mana draw 4" because there are several strings attached to that description. It only equates to exactly that when you have nothing else in hand when you play it (since you won't be able to play those cards that turn), and you have enough mana to play the 4 cards Secret Passage gives you. You can spam Pot of Greed on turn 1 for completely free 2 cards, but doing the same with Secret Passage will achieve absolutely nothing unless you were hoping for a Backstab.

    As for Self-Sharpening Sword: it's a slow weapon, and solid weapon removal always exists, so it is easily countered. There is therefore much less reason to nerf it.

    Yeah Secret Passage is less broken than Pot of Greed just because of the mechanics of Yu Gi Oh but Secret Passage is a 5 star card still

    The two cards just serve different purposes but have similar great results.

    You wait later in the game to play secret passage but in weapons rogue secret passage can often be your lethal.

    Sword should be easier to counter this meta with the lack of Sap though Coerce will probably replace it.

    Yeah you can use Acidic Swamp Ooze but that can possibly throw the effectiveness of your deck off and you may not even draw it

    I think SS Sword should cost 4 mana or lower the durability by the 1

    Secret passage could be nerfed to replacing your hand with 3 cards instead of 4 or nerfed to 3 mana like Arcane Intellect

    Can't say I agree that Self-Sharpening Sword and Secret Passage needs a nerf. For one thing, weapon tech absolutely crushes this particular variant, and secret passage already took a nerf. Now that Southsea Deckhand, Sap and Eviscerate are gone, I think aggro rogue will slowly succumb and die in a ditch somewhere when Barrens releases.

    But taking advantage of this thread, I think its fitting that I end this with a small point from JAlexander (exclusive rogue legend player), which I pretty much agree with;

    It kinda reminds me of control priest in scholomance. Your win rate against face hunter and stealth rogue is exponentially greater simply by having a 1 drop on 1. Thought provoking if nothing else.
