So, spend 5 mana and you get a 3/3, rush, divine shield, taunt .... that seems pretty underwhelming.

Seems like a Druid class card in disguise... Can't wait for it to roll Taunt 9 times!*

    *Probably doesn't work like that.

Seems like an auto-include in most decks. With a variable mana cost, it's good at any time in a match.

Seems like a very good reactionary stall card especially for the paladin questline.  It can also be created by first day of school.  I don't know if it will be enough to improve that quest.

Its flexible and its a good stated minion most of the time. Use this to efficiently utilize your mana, or just drop it early for good tempo. If it gains at least divine shield and rush, its already by default a good minion, so why not just include this into every deck?

A few downsides as it happens. Its basically a stats minion, doing nothing else. In ranked, most minions are required to be more than just a stats stick, and this card can't always guaranteed results.

I can see this being in nearly all aggro tempo decks. But in midrange or anywhere else, questions should be asked what exactly is this card doing here?

If you feel like a lucky individual this is a good card to run. Otherwise, I think this is mediocre. I think the best comparison would be Tiamat from SoU, but with added flexibility and the drawback of randomness.

If you dont have 30 good cards this will be the best filler imo. Pretty good late game, have a play early game good synergy with raise dead vs.

It seems that in the mid to late game this will be consistently solid, but this might be too random to find a home.

Mediocre is the word. At ten mana it's likely going to be a 13/13 rushing div shid taunt which is excellent naturally.

In truth, you're going to have to play it sooner many times. At 5 mana this can work out to a 3/3 divine shield rush taunt..... Which is kind of pathetic. Maybe you get lucky skip the dreaded taunt and get a 5/5 div shield rusher. That's still just good, not amazing and not guaranteed at all.

Do you get the rush? Don't you...? How badly did you need it to? It's probably not that great but pick it in Arena and think of it as a very late game card.

Kinda reminds me of Varian, King of Stormwind but with Varian, you can at least guarantee all the effects via deckbuilding and he doesn't see much play. Ivus is definitely more flexible though, but the keywords being random makes it inconsistent.

I feel like the RNG element makes it not worth it. Ideally you play this around turn 5 or 6, but if you then whiff on an important keyword you're very sad. Similarly, if you want to play it earlier for tempo and you don'T get the stat buff one you#re sad because you spent 4-mana on a glorified Argent Squire.

    I tried having fun once.

    It was awful.

Seems like a good minion for a bunch of decks, just as a filler kinda minion. The problem with Ivus, the Forest Lord is that Ivus is very... Random. You kinda never want to rely on Ivus, because he's so unpredictable. Imagine being on 5+ mana and NEEDING that rush, but your unlucky and dont get it and lose the game because of it. Reliability is really important these days, and i feel like Ivus might not be that good because of he isn't reliable. But that being said, he is very flexible so that might save him?

The only deck in which Ivus might be a must-include is most druid decks with Wildheart Guff because he can be a giant stat bomb with rush, divine shield and taunt. But even in that deck, Ivan requires games to last for a long time.

RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.

Looks weird, looks memey, but if played for 5+ mana I think Ivus, the Forest Lord is actually fairly strong. It trades Zilliax's Lifesteal for additional flexibility and unfortunately some uncertainty.

Arena: Yes, of course you want this in your deck!

Constructed: Zilliax's Lifesteal was significant. Therefore, I don't think this will be as commonly seen as Zilliax, but I don't think it has no place in the meta either. Deck that synergize with this card would probably want to include this, such as Quest or Divine Shield Paladin.

    Arena > Wild > Standard

Zilliax was the epitomy of flexibility, which Ivus, the Forest Lord is not, the same way Siamat is not. Ivus can be as flexible only if you're lucky. Or you have 7 mana leftover as Druid after playing a big chungus beforehand.

Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL)

I really really like this.  Early game RNG shenanigans, mid game unpredictable help, late game scary stuff.  Combine this with Wildheart Guff and that is just icky.  Good thing there are still target removal cards
