Cute Quest and Cyclone Support...
a target for Conjurer's as well, but seeing how not even Flamewaker brought that deck back to relevance I have lowered my expectations accordingly.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
dude!!! what the hell blizz? when will you learn from yours mistakes?! Conjurer's Calling says hello
This is very situationally good. In wild in specific where Mage can really generate a ton of cards this can be super cheap and the elemental tag can also be very relevant. In current standard I think its still fine, I mean its an 8 mana 8/8, so playing even one card makes this fine on tempo, and getting it discounted to 4-5 means its in the range of Mountain Giant most of the time. Being able to do that early enough is the issue, but its always good tempo late game which can be fine. The elemental tag means less atm but makes sense for the card.
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of the women.
Pretty good card, all of the giant's have seen play in some form with the exception of Jumbo Imp.
The starting cost of 8 mana is really what makes this card good, it shouldn't be too difficult to get it down to around 4 mana for a very strong and cheap minion. Luckily this doesn't need to be in hand for the cost reduction.
Great payoff for something Cyclone Mage already does a lot. Most giants see play, and this one seems like it will too.
8 mana isn't a lot to reduce, this will 90% of the time cost 3 or less when you play it. At the very least I will enjoy this in my Casino Mage. Mage plays a lot of cards that don't start in their deck, so this will probably be around in a lot of mage decks that could take advantage of a 0 mana 8/8 elemental.
Carrion, my wayward grub.
a new giant been a while, its one of those card you need to play with to see how good it is.
Sorcerer's Apprentice, Mana Cyclone, Conjurer's Calling, Chenvaala... YAAAAY... fml
more cyclone stuff, a very good addition to the archetype
Seems pretty good with all the card generating spells that mage has.
So twin spells, cyclone, main quest, Mage's general spell adding with all these it's going to almost always cost 0 also I'm surprised that this giant isn't 12 mana or something all the other giants have been even the other class giant snow fury or whatever.
Only a fool thinks they know everything. I admit that I know nothing
More cards for cyclone mage is always appreciated.
More dragons? Yes please!
i mean... for mage this is almost a free 8/8 lol
I'm generally a fan of giants but this one leaves me lukewarm. Would've preferred it as a neutral, since mage isn't the only one who likes playing with cards outside of their deck.
Another Giant to run that can be really cheap easily. Bit less flexible than the other giants though
Who needs consistency when you could have fun?
I think this will find a home. Obvious Cyclone mage value, but also works with Quest, any twinspell cards, all the new Discover cards, etc. I'm sure it's also an automatic add to any Wild Time Warp Mage deck.
A free 8/8 in an Open the Waygate deck; maybe it will find a home in Wild there whilst working toward Cyclone Mage in Standard. Keep in mind it doesn't specify the card must be a spell, so cards like Messenger Raven count too.

In the stream was played in reno mage, i think that in that deck could work fine
Cyclone quest mage will like this one!
