I do like the buff that comes with that weapon, but don't think much of that card as a whole. It seems rather expansive and slow, for a class that mostly excels in its midrange objective, and as the buff only applies twice, it doesn't seem that useful... Hey, give me a minute. I just need to load my.... uh, hope.
Struggle with Heroic Galakrond's Awakening? I got your back :
So this goes two ways. Either this buffs EVERY minion (even the ones you summon) in which case it could be legit, or it just buffs anything on board, hand or deck which makes it a 6-mana Keleseth, which is awful because we've already seen it being played in Rogue right and it sucks.
Unless we somehow give Hunter a weapon tutor this is trash.
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
I see Weapon Hunter is a thing.
About time we actually used a bow.
The good thing about this card is that its not completely shit, and that says a lot given that the weapon costs 6, usually weapons costing 5 and above need great justification to even be bothered with.
And this one does have one good niche. It deals 4 damage and then it buffs your board for a finish or something close to one. And thereafter you have a +2+2 to all your minions on turn 7.
But its drawbacks are so big that I simply dont see this ever being played. Firstly hunter rarely ever flood board until the late game, and secondly, if youre playing from behind this card sucks and sucks really hard. You're better off with Harpoon Gun, which gives game winning advantages and costing half as much as this one.
Hope of Quel'Thalas? More like hope FOR quel'thalas, relying on this thing.
I really like this artwork, want to see it golden. The effect is alright but I don't think hunter really needs this type of effect. It's basically a weapon version of The Mistcaller with the same mana cost too. That late in the game, the stat increase just feels win more.
TREMBLE before.... the most legendary dragon that ever existed!
Hmm i'm unsure about this card. It seems really good for a midrange kinda deck. Wildseed package also works quite well together with it. I think this might see some play, or experimentation at the very least.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
+2/+2 to everything no matter where it is seems nice, though given the cost of this, you may have already played quite a few minions before you can even play this. I'm guessing it's too OP with lower attack and lower mana cost.
6 for 8 damage and +2/+2 to all your minions everywhere... not bad, but less than thrilling for other buff options with Hunter. Granted, what's better than the kennels with this is that this will get all minions vs only beasts. Still though, 6 mana for a weapon in hunter is rough
Cope of Quel'Thalas
Incredibly questionable card, the only places I can see this in is in Sire D/Renathal minion pile decks, and even then this feels like one of the 31st-40th cards just thrown in there.
Hey, you heard about that Mario guy?
Just seems far too weak given its cost. Can't see it being played, honestly.
