Not sure if it sees play in Mage outside of memy casino decks, but Totem Shaman can make excellent use of this card by buffing it to increase the chances that it survives and even duplicating it. Can't wait for the Trolden clip where it casts Totemic Reflection on itself.

Yay! Totems!
I really like Totem Shaman, and this totem looks fairly powerful. I know it is super random and all, but more often then not, the spell will resolve in your favor. It is only spells that cost 3 or less, and it is only once per round, so I don't think it will turn the game into an RNG fiesta. But it will be able to provide a lot of value for little mana. The randomness makes this hard to utilize, but it also makes it hard for your opponent to play around it.

RNG. RNG. RNG. I LOVE THIS CARD. I am sooo gonna make totem shaman, but only with Trick Totem. A fitting tribute to our lord and savior Yogg-Saron, Hope's End.
Shaman: Good for totem shaman, as i said before. Mainly a fun card. In wild it can be put into Even Shaman as it's even costed.
Mage: Maybe will be slotted into highlander & control mage. Most cheap mage spells discover more spells, so it's often just generating resources for you. Maybe will be used in burn/tempo mage as well, just because they LOVE having more spells to cast. (And to power up cards like Chenvaala and Mana Wyrm.) In wild: ....... RNG! Casino mage will run this 1000% Cuz random wins games, and it's hilarious. 10/10 would try again.
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
This has to be the weakest of all Dual class cards. Fine for Shaman, but useless for mage. This could have been a shaman card exclusively. A true waste of dual class card.
It's obviously never going to see any legitimate competitive play, but it's just such a funny card to dick around with and I know at least a few people will do that.

Of course we will do ! I prefer %2000 times this kind of stuff instead of Resurrect Priest's consistency.
Ah, but there is a fact that I will make a mistake like I can enjoy with this card and everytime I will play this card, it will cast Lightning Bloom and overload me for nothing. That's the reality...
If you're behind, then 1 random 3 mana spell wont do anything, and if you're ahead then the spell can easily fix that for your opponent. Worst still you can't kill it by trading so your opponent will gayly leave it up with a smile. Looks more like a nerf to Faceless Lackey if Im honest.
The only reason for this card to be played is a masochistic desire to lose, or you really really don't want to finish that 50g quest but can't put hearthstone aside for 1 day.
Inconsistend and very RNG heavy. But i think this could work in Mage mostly because there are lots of Secrets this could play. Sure still very RNG Heavy but i kinda like it. Not that strong but very interesting and defenitely for meme decks. :)
Too much RNG (as so many others already pointed out) - I doubt mages will make any use of this.
As for shamans - well, they have a lot of other, more useful totems to play and buff, than this one. I think this one is only good for some memes. Nothing more.

2 mana, 0/3 is pretty good, your opponent should have a hard time removing it. Especially if this minion cast a board clear to protect itself.
Granted, this minion will cast ANY spell that's 3 mana or cheaper at the end of your turn, and that can be from any class. There's plenty of spells that will kill it, and plenty of spells that can improve on it, also.
There's also spells that it can cast that will have no effect when played like the sidequests. Having it cast a secret is probably one of the best things it can cast.
I don't think this card will see competitive play in standard, but I think it will be a fun deck to play in Casual or for hilghlight reels.

While I do think Totem Shaman would prefer something more consistent in a totem, it's hard to deny that this is the highest health totem you can play on turn 2 and adds to the consistency for Totemic Reflection on turn 3.
However, I don't think this has enough synergy in Mage for it to be seen there.
I think that The Amazing Reno has shown that one random spell a turn is on average positive. It also helps that secrets make up a good portion of the pool and they are usually tempo-driven. Overall, I do think Trick Totem has more tricks up its non-existent sleeve than it lets on at first sight (pun 100% intended).

Because why not. Live by the RNG, die by the RNG
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
Very inconsistent. I don't think that any deck runs this competitively, just because the effect cannot be relied upon.
This post is discussing the wild format.
Too memey to see play.
Good card i think. High rolls are better than the low ones, and the low ones aren't that bad. A lot of mage and shaman 3 mana spells are really good.
Living like that.

Same feeling.
Steps:
1- Drop this
2- Clone this with the spell
3- Clone both with the axe
4-??
5- Now you are playing casino shaman all turns
I love it! I love it! Bring on the RNG!!!!

I don't care what y'all said, reno totem will be a hell lot of fun. Can't wait to copy this with Totemic Reflection and see it go BOOM.

For glory, honor, and gold!
I seriously doubt it's terrible, but who knows? Safe to say it won't exactly be top-tier, but it's hard to predict how good random casting is.
