amazing card. You can pretty much safely drop it on 4 and don't even need to activate spell burst for it to be good.
I tried having fun once.

Yeah it goes over the weakness of spellburst but.. I will say that a 4/4 stealth for 4 isn't that great we had a MECH with the text when every single deck ran "unity precision perfection".

Nice to see ongoing support for stealth, but getting a random combo card seems a bit too inconsistent to make this worth. It also comes out a little too late for how fast stealth decks want to be.

I was going to say this card is great, 4 mana 4/4 stealth isn't bad and although a random combo card isn't ideal it is still a bonus, but then you reminded me of Coppertail Imposter and now I am thinking that this card may not be as good as I thought it was.
That being said, this card is a lot better than Coppertail Imposter because A. Stealth is more relevant to rogue than the Mech tag. B. adding a random combo card to your hand is something. While it may not be good, it is something. I think if you take a bad card and combine it with a bad effect you get a mediocre card. And this is better than some of the other options for Stealth Rogue.

Combo Rogue can be real?? This and the new 1 mana combo card's can boost the Whirlkick Master
Generating a random combo card seems hard to rely on, and 4 mana 4/4 minions without immediate board effect are hard to justify in a meta with such strong aggro decks.

Seems pretty decent for Stealth Rogue since you can reliably play it on turn 4 without needing to use its Spellburst ability right away, and then play a spell next turn to get the effect off.
Maybe one of the best spellburst cards, mostly because it will trigger most of the times.
Not good enough. If the game is to generate combo cards then Whirlkick Master is the name of the card.
What makes this even remotely playable is that it has stealth. So if you're running stealth rogue, you'd might consider this card, but 90% of the time you'd be playing the galakrond package, so no.
Maybe next year, when galakrond rotates. Until then just can't see anyone putting this deliberately in the deck.

Amazing card. 4 mana 4/4 with stealth is good already, but also getting resources from it RELIABLY is also really good. Sure Whirlkick Master saw no play, but that's because Whirlkick Master has bad stats for it's cost and it doesn't fit in aggro decks, BUT Shifty Sophomore does because of it's stealth. Will see a lot of play.
A stealth synergy? Guaranteed to proc the spellburst, but a random combo card may not be that strong.
Stealth synergy is what you want off of this card. If your deck is requiring stealth minions - sure, include that.
But the spellburst and the stats for the cost are nothing amazing to say the least.

Alright alright, stealth Rogue is starting to look pretty strong!

The wild player in me says it won't work because it looks "random", a.k.a. doesn't support anything, but it could be ok in stealth rogue. Maybe a tad too slow for the deck but that could change.
on paper it's a 1 mana cheaper Stanglethorn Tiger with -1/-1 stats.
the spellburst effect on a stealth minion is very interesting, the stealth allowing you to safely activate the spellburst next turn, which will generate you a combo card you can also use that same turn.
by the time Scholomance Academy launches there will be 15 combo cards available to Rogue - and are generally all very effective for removal or additional card generation.
This minion can work well with Whirlkick master, who will provide another combo card after using the one the Shifty Sophomore provides.
Otherwise she's an okay minion in arena, not exceptional but difficult to remove and can make favorable trades
Random Combo Card aren't soo good, so it's just a 4/4 with sthealt in most case. Average card imho.
It's solid, but random Combo-Cards are usually bad. Otherwise, Whirlkick Master would have seen Play.
Long, drawn-out Control Match-ups with Boardclears en masse and an unbelievable amount of greedy cards?
