Hehe, puns. Seems better in Warrior that Rogue since they typically run more weapons and has a harder time with card draw than Rogue. However, with cards like scimitar and Waggle Pick, this could easily become very cheap and a great way for Tempo Rogues to refill their hands.

For rogues this is just amazing. It isn't hard to attack at least 4 times with your daggers throughout the game. And for warriors I think this will mainly be used in Pirate warrior with Ancharrr, Livewire Lance, and all of the weapon buffs. All in all a pretty good card for classes that can appreciate it.
This pushes the new weapon Reaper's Scythe, but i don't think the weapon will be good so this won't be played either. In wild it's good in pirate warrior with Arcanite Reaper.
Very nice card. Might even persuade midrange pirate warriors to run arcanite reaper, especially with the 4 drop that summons a minion equal to weapon attack.
Not as many rogue decks can use this card, but it's always worth considering.

I think you have misunderstood this card. It has cost reduction equal to the attack of your weapon. Not how many times you have attacked with your hero this game.

Oh, your right, I thought the wording seemed a bit off. I guess I have been looking at too many new cards too fast :P.
The card is probably less good than I thought, but still not terrible. You only to have a 2 attack weapon for this to be fair value, any more than that and it is amazing.
A bit of a pun there since "cutting class" usually refers to the act of not going to class whereas this card appears to depict a class that's literally about cutting things.
Most weapons that are run usually have around 2 or more base Attack, so it evens out to an Arcane Intellect. Although with all the buffing you can do, you can get this dirt cheap. For aggressive weapon decks, this seems like it'd be pretty good.
Draws you cards and if you have a 5 damage weapon then this is free.
Yes, this is good. Yes this will go into all aggro rogue/warrior decks. But will it ever go anywhere else? That's another question. Risky Skipper combo is still here and not going anywhere, and rogue still has cards like Dirty Tricks and Greyheart Sage to do the same thing.
Perhaps next year this will truly shine. Until then, I cant see Risky Skipper making way for this, so its strictly going to aggro pirate warrior and little else.

Warrior: Warrior always had a big weakness in terms of card draw, this really helps out a lot! Also warrior always has weapons in their deck, so this might as well see play in every warrior deck. warriors often uses Arcanite Reaper in aggro decks, so Cutting Class will be a FREE draw 2. Really good! Maybe quest warrior might become good after all this support? Time wil tell i guess.
Rogue: Rogue already has 4 atk cards, meaning this generally is a 1 mana draw 2. This is REALLY good. Also rogue loves buffing their weapons as well, so this will see play for sure!
RNG is only fun as long as there is a 50/50 chance of getting something really good or trash level of bad. If RNG always results in something good, then it's not fun.
I believe every aspiring-rogue-and-warrior will love to attend the Cutting Class. This is the necessary draw engine for those weapon deck. And maybe.. hello Hack the System??

I really can't get it why there are comments like this. It is like we have a tournement format while playing on ladder and we have a limitation to build only one deck with a class.
It doesn't mean that some viable class decks outclass the other. There might be different viable archetypes for a class and that doesn't mean they are outclassing each other.
Risky Skipper combo is a different thing, this card's support is different. You might want to climb ladder with that deck, someone wants to play warrior but with different archetype.
Don't act like there "should" or "have to" be only one archetype of deck for each class in the meta.
If you have said that some existing cards outclass this one for target archetype like " Why would i use Self-Sharpening Sword while i can use Hooked Scimitar or Waggle Pick" I could understand tho. But you are comparing different type of cards for different archetypes.
It is trivial in Warrior to get this down to a baseline "3 mana draw 2," but they already have Battle Rage, which is tough to compete with in a deck that plans to use a lot of weapons. Rogue also has a lot of card draw options, and has a harder time setting up powerful weapons, so I'm not sure this makes the cut there either.
Rogue has some weapons and ways to buff them, but ye warrior is just superior.
Nonetheless, both classes can use some extra cheap card draw, so it will be interesting to see which deck will include this one. I like the design, the name and the artwork.

Even with a 2 attack weapon, this is Arcane Intellect, a card that has seen constant play since Day One. And it won't be that hard for either class to make it even cheaper.

Spells like this are always naturally powerful. Weapon Rogue might really come together...perhaps even without Galakrond
I tried having fun once.
It was awful.
more for warrior than rogue, rogue generally doesn't lack card draw but if you play a 4 attack weapon and Deadly Poison hmm ok.

2 mana draw 2 is really good, and most weapons have 3 attack, so yeah, really good card.

Very good - the draw will be very cheap if not free most of the time.
