This looks insanely strong against aggro.
After the expansion Oddpally see Mage as opponent -> "The victory is yours." :D
Really great effect for premier stats.. secret mage might be dangerous with these 2

The key here is wild.. In standard it's less insane.
While the card looks completely insane, i must applaud to the innovative process of giving mage yet another aoe, but with a fresh twist.

I guess this might give Aluneth mage a fighting chance against odd paladin and other board-centric decks. And since Aluneth mage is one of the best counters against big priest I can only approve. Only downside is that the AoE from this card won't come out earlier than turn 3/4, which might be too late at that point.
So it looks like mage will be getting a new secret with all this secret support.
Bit of token hate here, too. Turn 8 Flakmage secret secret will clear up any soul of the forest / murloc shenanigans. Parallels with shaman's Earthquake

I'm glad to see Mage is finally getting some cards that don't read "Random something"... On paper both this and the other card look really good but I'm not sure they'll see that much play after all... Wild Decklists are quite tight so I have no idea what you'd cut to play either card and unless we get a really good Secret and/or a tutor running Secrets in Standard is just too slow and clunky...

It is insane but I still don't think it's powerful enough to challenge odd paladin.

Turn 8? You mean turn 7 two times Arcane Flakmage + secret = Flamestrike. Except you also have 2 bodies and a secret up. Insane stuff! And decent stats so it can be played for tempo on turn 2, like a sorcerer apprentice. I think mage will get at least 4 viable decks, tempo/secret, tempo/spell damage, conjurer/cyclone/giant and freeze. And probably also some OTK stuff using galaxy spell/Jepetto etc. This makes mage much less predictable as opponent. Nice!
That's preeetty good for 2 mana. Gives mage a more situational board clear effect rather then being just another spell. Aggro decks will hate this.

no he meant that it causes an effect like Defile which can clear also Soul of the Murloc tokens on existing minions. He kills minions with deathrattle and also kills the tokens that deathrattle summons.it is playing Arcane Flakmage + Ice Barrier + Counterspell which is 2+3+3 = 8For the card, I'm seeing great synergy with Splitting Image here. Turn 5 Arcane Flakmage + Splitting Image is almost a great safe play to clean the board and have board afterwards.
I'm not worried about this card in standard but boy does it seem disgusting in the wild secretmage. Wide boards have always been a natural weakness of the deck... until now I guess. Even if the card turns out to be fine in terms of WR, I'm guessing it'll result in a lot of frustrating, unwinnable games where the mage can just lock you out of the game by sticking a flakmage and protecting it with secrets while clearing your board over and over.
In standard...this is a 2 card holy nova...but somehow even worse than that sounds?
This card is crazy good.
Meanwhile, Priest is stuck with Holy Nova for a 2-dmg aoe.

Holy Nova also heals your own stuff, and it does not need another card. I think this will revive the old tempo mage with secrets bare handed. It is great tempo play, a must remove card when played on curve, when saved for later turns when you have the secrets in hand its just removal + body = big tempo.
Against aggro/tokens, you just wait until turn 4/5 then play Arcane Flakmage + Kirin Tor Mage + free Splitting Image and they can concede :)
Say you do not want to play this on 2. What minion can mage play on turn 2 that fits a secret/tempo mage deck? And what about turn 1? Any ideas?
