Ideas for better Battlegrounds Tribal Units

    Menagerie builds are a huge reason people love this game. The only thing that bugs is there is literally THREE things you look for in a unit: Divine Shields, Cleaves, and big stats.

     

    All mechs are viable because of module but most of the other tribes have units you just simply do not want (the dragon and elemental that semi-cleave for example). I would really like to see some units that compete with the big 3.

     

    Here's a few ideas

    -The 2/3 tier 1 dragon could be made immune to poison to make it not completely useless.

    -How about a demon that has Overkill: Silence the unit on your opponents right side (to allow for counterplay)?

    -Scavenging hyaena (or the two previously mentioned) could be replaced with a 2/2 semi swiper that dealt 1 damage to adjacent units (anti div shield aid)

    -Lastly, a tier 6 murloc -something we haven't seen in a while- who doubles your first battlecry every round?

     

    These are a few ideas shot from the hip that a regular player came up with that'd mix up builds and make the game more fun. No telling how balanced they are but 100% making the game more interesting and fun if added.

     

    What units would you like to see added to the game?

    HS Needs Mirror Mode: Make Any Deck, 50% You Play it Versus Itself or Play Someone Else's Vs Theirs.

    Making the 2/3 dragon immune to poisonous feels a bit too niche for my taste. If you want to make something stronger against a thing, just adding the text "immune to that thing" doesn't seem like a very elegant solution. Personally I think the dragon is fine since it has some of the best raw stats on a tier 1 minion. Giving it more abilities would probably make it too powerful.

    I don't hate the idea of silencing things, as long as it isn't permanent. Permanently silencing things would feel really bad, but it would be pretty cool as a temporary thing for the one combat.

    Adding a 2/2 that swiped for 1 damage would be cool (I don't see why it couldn't be added without removing anything though). It may become irrelevant in the later game aside from getting rid of divine shields, though it wouldn't really be any better at removing divine shields than Cave Hydra. I think it should have some way to increase the damage to keep it relevant.

    The tier 6 murloc just sounds like a worse, higher tier version of Brann Bronzebeard. It would have to do more than that for it to ever be played.

    The tier 6 murloc is better than Brand since you don't have to use a space for him. Sure you can't cycle battlecrys but many turns you don't use that many. 

     

    Where are all the BG players at?? OoC is such a graveyard
