Option 1 and 2 are a bit unclear to me, what do you mean by 'examples'?
Anyway, I disenchant cards that I think are very unlikely to get nerfed. I like to keep golden cards but I'm also not afraid to disenchant them if I really need the dust, especially if I'm not impressed by the animation.
Edit: forgot to say that I (almost) never disenchant cards if I don't have two copies of it (or one for legendaries).

Oh I am sorry. Translation mistake...corrected it. I meant 2 copies of the same card.

Fortunately i don´t need to disenchant extras, since i pre-order and amass a great number of gold and already have a good safety net of dust. But if a do need to disenchant a few cards, i always go for the golden extras first and then the legendary dupes, usually i always disenchant golden epics first if i have 2 of the regular.
I only disenchant extra copies/Goldens of bad cards, never pressing the mass disenchant button cause suddenly blizzard can make commons disenchant for 10 one day or something
Usually I just press the mass disenchant button and maybe once a month or so I'll do some clean-up by searching for 'extra' and dusting all extras and always keep the golden versions because I like golden animation.
I only disenchant some cards when i want to try some cards i don't have, starting with golden first and then dupes. I always keep my asset in the form of cards because their value can change overtime (nerfs), while dust is always static.
Since a few months, I have stopped pressing the buttons. In Rise of Shadows, I got a refund for 15 Evil Miscreants after the nerf. That's 750 dust, or 685 dust profit.
At the moment I have ~13k dust in the button. I disenchant most of my golden cards unless I think it's a contender for nerfs. I see the button as a lot of potential value but might see it rise to above 20k before the end of the year. It also means that whenever a meta settles I can craft at will.
I usually keep a play set, combined normal and gold, and DE everything else. If I have 2 gold of something, I always DE the normal versions.
As for other cards, if a card is just unplayable I get rid of it. Or if it has been nerfed into worthlessness, Naga Sea Witch I'm looking at you, then I just rid my collection of it. But that is me. MY view is different though in that I am closing in on getting my last 2 golden heroes and once that happens, then I will just Gold craft everything for choice class.
I wish there were more options to customize the auto disenchant button. I don't DE any rare, epic, or legendary just in case there is a nerf. I only DE commons. I type "extra common" in the search function and DE anything that is extra. I sometimes DE gold versions first for extra dust if the gold version isn't in a deck already. If it is in a deck I don't DE it since I don't want to fix my decks.
I consider all of my cards a 'bank' of dust. As such there's no benefit to dusting them early. A copy of a legendary is 400 dust, whether it sits as a '2' below the card or a '400' on the bottom right. I can literally nothing for dusting it as it doesn't go down in value. So I keep it as is. if I ever need the dust, I dust the copy.
Doing so does give the rare, but not as rare is before, chance that it could spike to 4x it's value via a nerf.
So to me keeping a 2nd copy of leeroy, for example, is nothing lost and a small chance at a 4x boost for a gain.
As far as dusting when I need it, EVERY SINGLE CARD is on the table, but it's just simply a matter of priority. golden copies first, then copies, then 'worthless' cards, then worthless wild cards, then bad, and so on. The trick is that I'm VERY selective on what I craft. i'm more lax on my free dust and occasionally just craft on a whim, but once I have to dust anything, even copies, it MUST be really reasoned out, and many times I opt not to.
So I rarely dust in order to serve as a barrier of sorts. It controls my spending by making me have to think before I craft. Dust is the most precious resource in this game and literally determines how much fun and success you have here. So anything that helps you take it seriously is a must have.
Why trade with minions when you can face for...billions?
I mostly disenchant extra copies of cards, but I hold on to those that I *think* have potential to be nerfed in the future especially if I have golden copies of them. These are cards that I feel have mechanics/effects that can be abused by players to the point that a nerf will be warranted. Some examples include Togwaggle's Scheme, Time Out!, Hyena Alpha, etc. As you can see, none of these have been nerfed, so that makes me a pretty poor judge :P (I hit the jackpot by keeping 6 copies of Level Up! before though, so there's that).
I wish there were a way to customize the mass DE. Currently I just Use it because I don’t have the time or patience to scroll through my collection looking for dupes
Hey guys,
I am interested in how do you all handle disentchanting cards. For me there are some options:
Whats your fav option or is there any you would like to add?
Cheers

I hold on to everything, in case there are any nerfs or other changes to cards. I only disenchant when I need the dust, focusing on goldens first.
Well i usualy only disenchant something if i want a specific right now and do not want to wait :)
If this happens i do these things:
- Look at my cards and see if i have cards i never liked/wanted and dust copies
- Dust cards i think will not see play now or the near future
- Dust golden copies of cards i have normal
- Dusting epics or legendarys - This is only a last resort and i only do this if i have a "crap legendary" or epic card i never use :)
Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!
I go for #1.
I can't be bothered with manual disenchant just jn case of nerf. It's also pretty unlikely to own a golden that will be nerfed.

Pretty much as above.
I dust cards if I have 10 or more of them until it says 9 - unless I think it's a nerf candidate.
If Blizzard gives us a free golden card I'll usually dust it and any extras as it being nerfed seems exceptionally unlikely.
I press the disenchant button just to keep on eye on how much dust I potentially have, but don't actually mass disenchant.
Dust golden extras sometimes if the card is not good.
On rotation I go through the newly rotated sets and dust extras manually.
I'm f2p so try to be careful with dust and wait for meta to settle and pick what best synergizes with my collection.
All generalizations are false.
I usually keep a play set, combined normal and gold, and DE everything else. If I have 2 gold of something, I always DE the normal versions.

option 1
i never bothered myself with saving cards for potential nerf
i always just click the mass disenchant button and always disencahnt my golden cards if i have normal versions
