Yup, wild combo but hard to pull off. A more different variant of OTK Druid in wild.  There’s lots of flavors, most go the damage route.  Like facing any OTK Druid deck, as soon as you suspect that’s what you’re facing aggro hard

This combo can be prevented, it doesn't matter if it all happens in one turn. There are cards like Dirty Rat for a reason. You can't counter strategies if you don't intentionally tech against them.

Played against this deck last week in wild as well but the druid double buffed and had 2.5k armor.

This is proof about how the Wild format isn't a dumpster for all the broken crap. Wins my confidence. Next time they sell a wild pack I'm ready to pony up. LOL not

If only there was a minion that summoned a minion from your opponents hand. Oh wait there are several. If people don't want to put in tech cards, their choice. Just can't get mad when they get combo'd on.

    Gosh dang it, cards bad.

You can see it as another sort of OTK (and not an easy one). And as any combo deck already existent, you can tech against them or lose if they manage to set it up.

    I don't see any issue.

I know! You have to tech for everything and have decks that only tech against every possibility! You must be one of those younger people that doesn't understand sarcasm

It's just an OTK deck as the many OTK deck that have existed and that will exist in future. There is no difference between this and reducing opponent's life to 0, even if this is funnier.

However, I can say that Standard isn't a money grabber where everyone is playing the same 2 decklists full of high cost card crying for nerfs when losing to turn 3 giant turn 4 calling. Except, not.

Doesn’t Wild just mean that you’ve been giving Blizzard your money for longer?

    time/money*

Wild is MUCH more F2P-friendly than Standard, as long as one can continuously select what they want to play. Wise crafts in Wild never become obsolete.

In-Topic: yeah, it's basically a sort of reverse OTK. It happens late enough, so that one can still prevent it by trying and winning first, no tech required. Additionally, you can still keep fighting, and eventually overcome the enemy, as long as you can delay fatigue (which you should be able to as a Control).

So, yeah, it looks overwhelming, but in practice it is not. Definitely not more than the average OTK deck in Wild.

Well the thing im curious about is what happens in the mirror match-up ? always a draw because of the 90 Turn Draw?

I personaly am not a wild player , but im playing the game long enough to know that there are lot´s of crazy combos and OTKs - so i guess this is pretty "normal" in wild ?

Challenge me ... when you're ready to duel a god!

It may be, or it may be not. I will make you 2 examples:

First, you can dodge an entire expansion and still be competitive in wild, while in standard you can't. There are a lot of good competitive high tier deck that can be played without any SoU cards at all. I am -for example- someone who like hearthstone and that have spent money on the game; but I feel so sicure that I can choose if preorder or not an expansion: I bought Boomsday, skipped RR, bought RoS, skipped SoU, and still I can play almost anything I want to.

Second: there are a lot of old deck that can still be played. Yesterdey I played with success a Secret Paladin, the deck still have power. And there are a lot of budget deck, as the more cards the more you can find good budget substitutes.

Back on topic, again, this is a OTK deck: the right tech is firstly playing the match in the right way. Be the beatdown, they said.

Honestly, I was being sarcastic, but I can see that there is some good pro-con discussion on Wild versus Standard. There are lots of advantages and disadvantages. I think if I ever actually decide to play in the wild format, it will be with a particular deck and I'll probably use dust to get the old cards instead of buying packs.

It is an OTK, to be sure, and there are lots of ways to tech. But you can also go way overboard with the tech cards. Probably trying to beat the opponent before they get the combo is a good strategy unless you face this deck over and over and over again

I just fought against the same deck, I would have won if they were not playing mecha'thun. My opponent played 2 earthen scales, so he had twice the armor. it is a pretty nuts comb.

    Carrion, my wayward grub.

Trolden's latest collection has a hilarious bit at the end of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFfQtXAxt5k Dude stacks up over a billion armor (check my math, not my strong suit). And then loses!
