[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)

I found the original one pretty neat, let’s see how this goes...

To quote the legendary Riosix:

It's a treasure hunt using your Hearthstone card collection. I'll start it off with a riddle, and you try to figure out what card I'm talking about. First one to answer correctly picks a new card and makes the next riddle. Make it as difficult as you want, just not impossible :)

I’ll start with:

Alone I’m quite fearsome,

you better watch out,

but doubled I’m more than tripled,

and my gurgle - a mighty shout.

"Alone I'm quite fearsome" - a highlander card

"but doubled I'm more than tripled" - the card summons another minion. If you get to duplicate it (in hand), you end up with 4 minions, which is more than 3x the original one

"a mighty shout" - a battlecry minion

Since it’s proving hard, I’ll give a tiny hint: the gurgle becomes a mighty shout when doubled as well

Is it Blood of The Ancient One?

Alone I’m quite fearsome, (a 9/9 is pretty big)

you better watch out, (You want to keep on eye on this minion so it doesn't turn into a 30/30)

but doubled I’m more than tripled, (When you triple a 9/9 the total stats are 27/27, and when you double the Blood of The Ancient One you get a 30/30)

You got it! The last line was a reference to how the Blood’s entrance quote is an unintelligible gurgle, but when doubled it becomes the Ancient One, whose entrance quote is a shout and a half (THE DOOM OF WORLDS AWAKENS ONCE MORE!)

Lots of hints pointing to Ungoro there... and obviously something flying. First thought about Fire Plume Phoenix, but I go for Pyros because of "Here I'll live and die..." - no other deathrattle cards with flying creatures from Ungoro coming to mind.

Thanks! This is my first try, let me know if it ends up too difficult. I liked the idea of using lyrics, so I'll pick that up with Linkin Parks "In the end".

There is a lot of referencing to shuffling and getting bigger stats, so Jade Idol does make sense. But if it isn't that then Pogo-Hopper seems like the next card to pick.

You've got it right! The "buff" was a reference to the cost reduction from 2 to 1 mana. Looking forward to your next riddle
