So I play against rogue, who is randomly getting Greyborough. After working my way through this one and two more from this wonderful „Replay all cards you ever played from another class in your life“(!!!) we finally go into fatigue (both). I‘m way ahead and we are just two turns away from my win. The rogue suddenly discovers Devolving missiles and turns one my creeps into Cornelius Roame. He killed me in two remaining turns while drawing fatigue like crazy. Thank you RNGesus. Truly ever in my favor
I missed the update where you are being forced to play exclusively Rogue after you aquire Legendary rank. Seriously, is there anyone in Standard Legendary NOT playing rogue?

No, rank 3 and above is full of rogues too Got like 4 in a row

very weird, while in my case, it was like 7 out of 10 games with Pirates Warrior. And trust me when I say I had enough, so I went full Freeze Shaman to counter it. Maybe next season climb I get to face more Rogue then.
So my avatar in this site is my old dog. Does that make me a dog? No, I'm still a person.
So why the hell does Wildpaw Gnoll still count your Rogue cards as cards from another class just because you're a Rogue dressed as something else? Who even considered this as good design in the first place?
Rating cards on coolness factor rather than predicting power because I like screwing up rating averages (and because I suck at predicting real power levels, but we'll ignore that LUL) Wins per class (18/11/21): DH-180; Druid-931; Hunter-910; Mage-1016; Paladin-1088; Priest-695; Rogue-938; Shaman-1024; Warlock-821; Warrior-847
You can follow me on Twitter - I am always active and you can tag me to highlight your (or someone else's) 12 wins Duels run or really anything Hearthstone-related!
I like Diablo being a "dual class" hero (and an outside IP character at that) in Duels. What I don't like is the insane fucking synergy that demon seed has with the claws hero power.
Demon seed needs to be nerfed heavily (or banned from Duels) because it's just too much of a warping factor, especially with Diablo around. It creates a situation where you can't even play big minions, because you actually help accelerate their quest completion.
I'm not trying to bitch for the sake of bitching, but the quest specifically with Diablo creates a polarizing situation where playing no-minions or going wide will cause you to lose. Playing big minions will....also cause you to lose, just faster.
I just really hate the Demon Seed as a mechanic as a whole, it circumvents a core mechanic, and should never have existed in the first place.
Also, since I'm ranting in this thread: Fuck Pirate Quest: I know it's low skill in both duels and standard, but I'm so sick and tired of seeing it. I'm sick of seeing cannoneer on turn 4, and I'm sick of highrolls with Smite/Gorehowl.
On the next rotation Blizzard needs to tone down the mana cheating, tone down the card draw, and bring back resource management and actual decisions. When 90% of your playerbase currently is just speedrunning through their deck for their quest completion/OTK/aggro curve without any consideration to resources (because they never have to worry about running out of cards) then there is a fundamental problem with the game.
Is it just me, or do all the Thief Rogues in Standard play like their brain is on a dial-up internet connection? It's like they think they are so clever and need to rope ever turn, even their turn 1 do nothing turn, to let their opponents bask in their cleverness. Even when they immediately trade their Cutlass and stay in disguise they sit there like "Do you think my opponent noticed?" Yes, and I also noticed that you don;t know where the End Turn button is!
This isn't even really an angry rant toward the deck itself, just the awful time wasting by so many fucking people! It's even better when Questline Warriors rope every turn, but at least that deck isn't being spammed all over Standard ladder right now.
Quick! Someone give me something clever to write here.
Battlegrounds rushes out a hotfix and doesnt bother to buff a few champs i like that are total dogshit in the buddy meta (Pyramad, Guff, etc). Sigh....

I feel like people aren't talking about Battleground Battlemaster enough, this card is literally always 6 mana 8 - 16 damage every time I've seen it
It's not on people's radar only because it's been played in just one deck (HandLock). If Battleground Battlemaster will ever get more popular, Reddit won't miss the chance to cry about it.

My problem with Battlemaster is that it creates a situation where if you don't remove the opponent's entire board, you risk lethal. Just TWO 4/4's left on board is 16 damage if Battlemaster gets thrown down.
On a side note I'm here to rant about Mage in Duels. The Infinite Arcane signature treasure needs to be nerfed. It's anti-fatigue, and effectively perfect draws every turn. It needs to be "discover a spell from the pool of mage spells" so that way it still acts as anti-fatigue and can have synergies, but no longer lets you have infinite Mordresh and/or freeze.
shoutouts to blizzard for epicly nerfing the warrior and hunter questlines instead of just banning them from the format. one mini-set later and wild is still completely dominated by RNG warrior and cookie-clicker hunter is on the rise again, but apprentice decks were definitely the ones that needed to be hit the hardest. i legitimately have never seen a more incompetent balance team in any competitive game. wizards of the coast has made some notoriously bad balance decisions with MTG and even THEY would've had this solved by now.
i will never forgive blizzard for what they did to turtle mage
THIS. THIS is why the warrior questline is the worst designed card ever printed. they took a perfectly good and powerful deck in pirate warrior and gave it an untouchable minion that cranks out 3 layers of rng every turn for the rest of the game.
i will never forgive blizzard for what they did to turtle mage
switch to control to counter aggo -> only face better control/greedy AF value
okay hearthstone. i guess i suck it up, play aggro face decks, and walk into traffic.
edit: faced ~ 10 greedy control decks in a row. okay. switch to kazakstan druid, immediately face OTK mage. makes sense.
next game with kaza druid, face libram paladin, a deck i'd not faced in the previous 10 games.
okay switch back to control warrior. face kaza druid. what is going on.
i wish i was exaggerating. i am ONLY queuing into decks that hard counter me. lost to kaza druid as warrior then immediately faced OTK mage again. switch to kaza druid, face demon seed, twice.
downvoted for posting appropriate content in the correct place. "message boards for everyone else, but fuck this guy in particular" right?

Well, it is consistent with other effects from the past and it is good design.
The problem is that Gnoll is a bit too cheap or has a bit too much stats. But I am glad that Gnoll exists and I like this mechanic.

double faced Diablo with both Tamsin and Rokara.
oh holy all that's great, gimme a break.
I really hate the ladder on mondays. One single win in about an hour's playtime. Don't make me turn to wild and Questline Hunter again...

When did the meta become so braindead? Getting alive to f***ing turn 5 is a miracle right now.
